Good game, but has some flaws. I wasn't able to play this on Chrome, Mozilla would never load, so I needed to play it in Internet Explorer. For the leveling up, if you selected a stat you maxed out by mistake, it wouldn't let you cancel and you were stuck with losing a level up point. The score submitting function just never worked at all.
For a veteran RTS player, the game is a bit too easy without difficulty adjustments. I was able to sweep through each challenge using just the Paladin and win the first try. Mostly fully upgraded archer spam to the max capacity with warrior support and laying down the spells blew through most enemies. Then the last boss was simply elephant defense spam while you built resources and then I plowed through it with a random assortment. In most instances, the advanced units like ballistas and crossbowmen played no role in the game; smaller unit spam with upgrades were more efficient. Not even horsemen were really worth it. I didn't use Golems until last level, but I probably didn't need to.
I was originally bitter about the whole token thing, but in actuality its really just a way to accelerate game play. You can still pretty much obtain everything without tokens, it just takes time.
A good time killer, but it doesn't make sense how typically you find the artifact (thus really good loot) before some of the higher end non-artifact loot.
Memory serpent is probably too overpowered, especially when you consider there is a glitch attached to it. The ability to unload 14 damage first turn with a good draw is simply crazy (2 strength drop with 3 memory serpents). The glitch is that if you only have one card left in your hand, and its memory serpent, you can still play it for the 4 strength, so it is essentially a 0 cost 4+ buff.
