Have you realized the objective timer is still running when a chest drops during the "Milk and Cookie Run", even though buff timers pause? That means that a player is going to lose at least seven seconds every time a boss drops a chest during that run, since they can't bypass the animation in any way. When you're running a timed objective, it's really aggravating to realize that you're going to come up short due to having to wait on chests dropping.
And that says nothing about the fact that the objective timer still runs when you're doing an "upgrade all", or when you're in the shop or opening chests. But those are at least optional; chest animations are not, as far as I can tell.
Thank you for the feedback. I will bring that up with the designers. Most players have been getting around the 7 seconds for a chest by having auto-pause off and the play history or the guide book up when they are fighting a boss level, if a chest will happen to drop.
The game just flat-out crashed for me. I got some kind of parse error - didn't actually write it down, unfortunately - and now the game screen is just black. I'm going to try closing my browser entirely and reopening it.
So, I get to level 8, and can't figure it out. And the walkthrough solution is utterly worthless - even following it, I end up with building pieces hitting the building I'm not supposed to hit.
Nanobuilder seems off compared to the other nanites in terms of cost/reward. At 800 units, it produces approximately a third of what the Nanoconnector produces, at half the speed since it's the next step up. So its output is something like a sixth. When I upgraded the nanoconnectors to 800, that ratio dropped to less than 1/10th, and the output was consequently reduced to less than 1/20th. This is with approximately 3.3 giga (2^30) transcended bits (after transcoding losses).
Looking at the milestones, it appears much of the fault is there. The nanoconnector and nanoreplicator both jump to x3 multipliers at 600, 700, 800, and 900, while the nanobuilder remains at x2 for those levels.
Game is beaten. It was kind of fun, although the balance changes last night made it a bit too quick. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the fact that you made it faster, but I shouldn't have been able to clear stage 1, 2, and 3 in less than 24 hours.
Clicking anywhere on the screen will sometimes trigger a quantity change. I have had this happen when I'm trying to click to purchase new ships or when I click the option button. I am using Firefox 32.03 and I just refreshed the page.
