This is honestly one of the best games I have found on here. It is not pay to win and there are no real advantages to buying fuel other then reduction in time or special decorations. which is nice, and I also enjoy that there is no energy so wile you have an hour to wait on an upgrade you can go out scavengingor resources jsut to start another upgrade. This is a really fantastic game that I will probably stick to for some time to see how it developes.
I have been a long time fan of this game series and so far what I have seen of it is really good. I have not yet been able to play through any of the later levels but so far it seems good and holds true to its predecessors. 5/5 keep up the good work.
This game was executed very well. I enjoyed the overall storyline progression acrossed the map and being able to see what the insects where up to as well. Also I enjoyed only needing experiance to unlick the higher weapons indtead of money as this made it so all the weapons needed to be uesed rather then being able to pwoer upgrade by saving up tons of money.Great game keep up the good work.
Overall great game, I do enjoy the coins no loger being there after all the upgrades have been purchase. However, Mecha-Fishhead is way to over powered fora second boss, you might want to tone him down a bit.
This is an absolutely great game. I love the basic 8 bit graphics to. I have never actually jumped while playing a game before. I was not expecting this to be so interesting. I can't think of anything other then a 5/5 for this game. Keep up the good work.
It is really amasing what you can do with unity now. I remember when it was just introduced and the games were not that well done. I will say I really enjoy this game and will probabaly play it on some of my freetime here in college.
This is a really well crafted game at it's core. But the energy system and rewards for comming back day after day make it to much like a fcebook grinding game. I was hoping that Kongregate games would stay away from that trend, but it seems more and more games are being converted into hat style. Effectivly ruining the game/series.
The game overall isn't bad. It runs really smooth outside of when all of your specials are called at once. The game gets increasingly difficult even with upgrades which is a welcome sight to flash games. I would have to complain about the lack of a soundtrack. Just listening to the sounds of exploding AA shells can get rather boring. So perhaps a soundtrack to liven things up a bit would make the game more interesting. Other then that it is a great game for its style. 4/5 from me.
This is a really great game. I enjoy the puzzling challenge on top of the soothing music. IT adds a more relaxed feeling and allows for someone to even try this with someone else without getting agitated at not being able to solve the puzzles. I really hope that you make a third one.
This is a really great game just like the other notebook wars. Each time they have got better and better which you can't really say about many sequels anymore. The music is great. The enemies are well done and just the large amount of upgrades is amazing. I look forward to playing notebook wars 4 and 5 or however many more you decide to make. Keep up the great work 5/5
Now this is creative. You took a claassic game that everyone loves and made 28 different modes to it. You kept to the simple graphics of the original and gave it some good music. It is hard to find good games based off the classics anymore as normally they just ruin it, but this is a great game. Keep up the good work 5/5
This is a really nice game. I really hope to see badges added to the future. The music is good and keeps me tuned into the game. The upgrades are nice to and the overall graphics are stellar for a game such as this. The only real thing that I would change is the button to activate the special. As typically, the space key is used to do this so every time I went to use it, I would mash my space key until I remembered it is the R key. Other then that a fantastic game. 5/5 from me.
So far from what I have played of this game, it is really well done. I have enjoyed the game so far. The only real complain I have is not knowing when your unit is about to die. As Once you get a ton of units on the screen it is difficult to monitor all of them and having 5 or 6 just die instantly is bad. Other then that this is a great game and I plan to finish it in the future.
I would have to agree with some of the top comments. I do have a few suggestions that would make this game a little bit better. Some of these may have already ben said but I will re-state them here.
1) Survival mode
2) Mini bosses
3) More difficulty settings
- Such as medium and hard. Where enemeis become stornger proportionaly
4) More weapons then jsut the lasers and possibly mech customization.
Other then that this game is great and has a good future for it if developed correctly. I can also see this game developing into something similar to the mech games that follow a storyline. Keep up the good work.
For a sequel or something i would add custom controls so you will be able to set whatever you feel like pressing. :)
