This a rhythm game, wherein the audio has not been synced up properly to the required actions. Also, campaign mode without a save feature?
Too much fluff, not enough core game. Please spend time honing the features that are required in a game, before trying to add in features that are only there for a label.
I just love when the same person can take four thumper shots to the face and shrug it off. seriously, adjust the health on these guys or the damage on the weapons. maybe both.
for all those who didn't know it, the box on the right hand side under neath the name of the current level both shows how far you are and lets you switch between levels.
it felt as though it could have been a console game back int 8-bit era. what it really needs, is to replace these stages with some actual levels.actual lengthy levels that need both strategy and skill to complete, with a few checkpoints put in. that would be something extraordinary.
once your moving you can't stop until you hit a wall. can't jump unless your standing still. is this the way it is supposed to be? if not, this game is broken for linux.
the concept is a nice area yet to be explored fully, although the challenges presented in the demo rely more on sense of timing than a skill or intelligence based difficulty.
the music collection leaves nothing lacking with some wonderful compositions.
controls could use a bit of work, found left and right a little sensitive.
in regards to having to purchase the rest of the game, flash is not a good medium to program in. in the first level there was a glitch where the character would be trapped having the moving platform inserted into his waist. if this games was developed in a C variant or in java, it might be worth pursuing.
this demo would be a 3.5 in my books.
I can understand not saving the bonuses, nut could you at least let us save the gold? I was at the 950 mark when the power failed. that's just f*****g evil.
