Attacks come in real time, but your gun fires by the frame. Thus, if you have low FPS, your bullets will be slow, and you will be overwhelmed. Please fix this bug!
I loved this game, but its very short. It takes awhile in the beginning, but then goes extremely fast.
Use the yellow arrowed combat areas till you get enough money for an upgraded pistol. Then, get the car. Then, go to all the check points except the bridge. Drive over guys till you have enough for the rocket launcher. End of game.
I still thought this game was cool. Just wish it was longer; more epic.
@killer2237: FYI, the leveling is the same as in zelda II, for the NES. You have to hit cancel if you want to level something else, and then wait till you get enough experience.
it gets kinda old. After awhile, I would just gather all the zombies, and kill them with all with one thrown sword. Got to level 40, got bored. A nicely put together, yet completely unambitious game.
yeah, I noticed the bug about mana regen. DON'T upgrade initial mana at all. It reduces your mana regeneration for some reason, even if you boost your mana in game. Just upgrade the regen ability, and you are set.
the setup is weird. The game is beatable. You just have to buy whatever upgrade that has the same index as the level you are on. Its stupid, non-intuitive, and involves no strategy. So, to beat the second level, you HAVE to buy the auto-repair thing. Even though it gives you no more damage, it gives you permission to kill the guy with the rolling rock (who does 20 times more damage than the other creeps).
[You also have to kill the two super creep first, as they do the most damage. The rock roller, then the green square guy]
If you buy a weapon that is too powerful, the rock roller is invincible. Thus, the whole notion of upgrading in this game is pointless. You have to buy the specified upgrade every level.
Even if all these problems were fixed, the game would be a bit lame, though not bad. Even then, 1/5. I hate games where you have to click like crazy to fire the gun.
