Might be just me, but compared to other puzzle games, this one seems way too easy for me. Not being a fan of them, it's one of the first I ever finished. Under an hour.
The concept of the game is nice and all, but it is too easy to see through the creators intention, like, where should a specific color be. And enlarging the picture doesn't really make it harder. What would IMO work is making the paths longer.
Also, the UI seemed a bit unresponsive at times, but this may be due to my PC or even Flash itself and would take lots of time to debug regardless, so I'll just take it as is.
One thing which would improve the gameplay and wouldn't (I think) require much work would be to automatically fill all those ones and twos - they are of little importance and just annoy the player.
There is a small bug I encountered.
I was being attacked by a monster and during the fade-out for the fight I tried to access my backpack. The screen went black with just my character there and I couldn't do anything.
Bolt description:
"Air damage caused by the preferred method of yellow rodents."
This one killed me :P
But still, it would be way better if the vulpin evolved.
with campain mode I thought of if making some more unique mobs/spawners and make them appear the same way on every level... kinda hard to put it in words...
and add a survival mode - I wanna higher levels!!
reminds me of good ol' Crimsonland :) ever thought of making a campain mode?
like someone wrote already: gauss gun, sniper maxxed, sharpshooter maxxed, weap focus and you get a 2~3k crit in virtually every 5 shot burst :)
@ferhago: from what I've seen the crit dmg is actually multiplied by 2 every level of sharpshooter (max x16 then), otherwise I wouldn't get those 3k crits ;)
@zaodai: it's actually the point to see the enemies ;P afair in Crimsonland there was a park which made the opponents glow faintly (could be added here too)
I wonder why did you go down so much on creativity? The enemies were way more interesting in Blueshift. I didn't get far in the game, but the weapons alsoo look less creative... Oh, and definitely do something about inventory screen! Would be four stars, but comparison to Blueshift (which is IMHO way better) lowers it by one.
No matter the number it shouldn't take more then 7 guesses xP
Could make it look a bit nicer xP
And allow the use of enter key rather then clicking the "Guess" button.
Ah... brings back childhood memories xP plus, you solved the ever-annoying issue of paper tearing when you cut out too much xP plus nicely done, I even kinda like the music. I'll give you 4/5
Oh, and one feature I'd like to suggest: double click creates a new point and automatically conects it to the first one
The green guys look kinda like done in paint (no offence, they look good for such), but you could use any photo-editing program (GIMP, to name a free one) to cut out the white background and only THEN import the img to flash. Other then that, I say it's a nice game and you just need to work on your skills, cause obviously you're just starting with flash games. Oh, and I believe the image you edited for the thumb is copyrighted.
