ok, that's weird: On first loadup ruffle loaded the game just fine, played for awhile and was curious about save system functionality. I reloaded the page and now it won't boot at all.
very disappointed that you can't actually craft everything yourself, you still have to buy a bunch of stuff from shops in order to progress.
I'm even more disappointed with the hourly event, the grind takes ages only to find that everything disappears if you don't spend everything, nothing stays with you between event sessions.
3/10, came for the aesthetics, left disappointed
Strange, the game saves in cookies normally. After restarting the game, your game save should be visible. You can build many things yourself, but only after you build the appropriate buildings
@catgravy I've had it happen to me, it does sell everything at the end. Its not optimal though because when you do merges of 5+ of coins and gems, you secretly are generating more so its best to have at least those 2 things fully upgraded before it ends.
nevermind, people are downvoting me for criticizing one of the most blatant gatcha games since candy crush, clearly they disliked you for criticizing the game instead @catgravy. Thank you dear public opinion for reminding me how stupid you are.
Though this is very clearly Merge Kingdoms with a different coat of paint. I noticed a few changes:
1. the game runs smoother, and is more animated (more frames), so this must be on a stronger engine
2. the map is more difficult, I already feel cramped with just the starting area - and more stuff seems to get introduced much faster.
3. the rewards are stronger in certain areas - in kingdoms there is a coin spending event, during which you can pop little coin bugs. This game has the same event but the coin balloons net you roughly twice as much gold as before, but maybe its some sort of fluke *shrugs*
Its very unusual how high the animation quality is, I wonder if the artists put any heart into these designs, and if they knew it was going to be used in an addictive soulless gatcha game.
Someone suggested that the leaderboards are fake, if that's true please keep it that way because I am destroying and loving it! I'm a F2P user as well.
The Lich near the end is pretty ridiculous, on turn two he gets some strange white +5 to his attack that isn't explained, and this scales up as the fight goes on. No obvious way to counter random power scaling
