A strategy for level 20 Starry that seems relatively reliable (YMMV, I think it's still a luck-based level):
As soon as level starts, grab the mana pool with three cut-outs and then plant the first four towers as quickly as possible. While waiting for the first wave, use three cut-outs to take out the middle monument - this should reveal a treasure chest for 250 gold, place the other towers. This gives you enough mana that you don't need mana drops in the first levels, and enough gold that you don't need gold drops in the first levels. Keep your mana above 80 at all times for emergency terrors, but cut-out the lighthouses as soon as possible. When you see an iron monkey coming, you should be building towards 300 mana and preserve at least 150 to meteor strike him. This method of beginning the level ensures a solid flow of mana and a good starting gold amount.
The people cried out for a buggy, second-rate rip-off of Amorphous with none of the wit and boring gameplay, and lo, their prayers were heard by the Lord.
Still has quite a few bugs. For instance, sometimes building stops working for no reason, Population and Cash remain static and can't change. I really think these are issues you could've found testing the game yourself, rather than releasing it like this - apart from anything else, if the game gets above 2.0, it's visible to far more people, and thus less readily apparent bugs can get fixed.
Yeah, I'm considering relocating the black beans elsewhere (so they only spawn within a certain area), but I'm not sure yet. My other projects atm are a bit more complicated than this so if I can't fix the simple music/sound bug, I'm screwed for those. Thanks very much for the feedback.
the bug is now corrected ! thanks for reporting
