I love games like this, there are not enough of them around. I do wish the characters were a bit more likable, and the strands (different events that happened) a bit different. I also wish that it had in some way incorporated why exactly Future Todd(s) is so eager for revenge/violent lusts. Was there a particular event that sent him off the deep end? Or was it just the accumulation of many years of hatred and envy. Either way, it would be nice to have a little bit more insight.
Besides that, this game way really great. The detail that was put into it was excellent, and I love that it hints that what is thought to be real is not reality. All the little mentions of different worlds and the fact that you are playing on an old computer in the game. Makes you think, is someone playing on a computer out there, directing all we do?
Or maybe I'm just reading way to much into it XD
Love it, but the ending was really anticlimactic... And the slowness at the beginning almost made me leave before really getting in to the game. So for those things, 3 out of 5.
If anyone finds that they're stuck loading at the beginning (eg no loading at all on the bar) emptying your cache fixes this problem.
Still in love with the game :D
Loving this game. I like how some stuff refers to other books, eg the depressed legion is called martin, and the cute little bandit who find his way everywhere uses the phrase 'pretend-like'. If you don't know what I'm referring to, read "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and "The Redempion of Althalus"
Thanks, some valid critiques in there. I didn't mean to allude to the last part of your comment, but it's an interesting idea.
