Suggestion, give our enemies names. They seem to have certain patterns related to number vs hp so maybe they could be orcs, giants, goblins, and others...
I'm new to the game so maybe this exists as an upgrade later, but, it would be nice if Magic changed colors or lit up when a Staff is fully charged and ready to be used.
Performance of this game is really terrible on non gaming machines like ultrabooks. Scale down the graphics or make it more efficient. I'd like to explore this game more but will likely quit soon because it's too laggy.
I like the improvements to the fame mission. I want to suggest that when we adjust the slider to get a lower reward, can we have the option to only move the max slider? I still think we are going to get much less lore through this reset model so when there is a blueprint I absolutely want to skip as a reward, I'd like to dial in and just get a big lore boost. Either that or always give a small amount of lore with every reset.
Well, you can move the slider in a way that you either get the lore or the double lore without any chance for the blueprint or token. The problem with your suggestion is, that it would be much easier to get high amount of gems.
@cueballkev I did read the patch notes and am excited I can get past blueprints. However, until I can earn that blueprint, having it in my fame mission doesn't help me. If it was offered as a reward for my current mission, I would likely not earn it still as you need to complete fame missions to increase your chance of earning it. For the current town, my only choice was to level the old way and hope the next town doesn't require a blueprint I haven't earned yet.
My first fame mission requires an Uncut Emerald. I started playing after that event and don't have the blueprint. Can you restrict Fame Missions to only blueprints you currently have?
@shadowdx18 - if you watch items for fame missions aren't vanishing but are getting used by the mission. The amount let to fill goes down by the same amount that "vanishes".
Thanks for the suggestion! With the newest patch the arrows become white semi-transparent when you have all the resources for the current mission rank.
I'm having trouble with watching videos when reseting. The video plays correctly, it says I have earned a reward, but when I close the video it returns to the reset screen and doesn't reset. I've left the game for 2 mins in case it was a delay problem but it still doesn't reset. Spending 2 gems for the reset bonus still works fine.
Thanks for reporting. I fixed this with the 3.2.8 update as well, but forgot to mention it in the change notes. Please create a bug report, when it still doesn't work.
Suggestion: I'd like a "Recall all vendors" button somewhere up in the vendor panel. Clicking it would remove all vendors from the products to which they are assigned. Usually after autobuilding I go back and remove most of my vendors if I'm working on saving up for an expedition. A one click removal of all the vendors would make this process much easier.
Thanks for the suggestion. This is mostly a problem with the space in the UI. I will see, if I can find a way to squeeze it in somewhere. In the meantime you should be aware that you can remove a vendor much faster by right clicking the small human icon on the production unit.
Is the server down? I had 3 red screens in a row trying to accept an expedition for the knife event. I had to reload and repeat each time and now on this last reload the game is stuck at loading game state from server.
There was a problem with one of the servers yesterday for an hour, which resulted in timeouts and the error message you’ve seen. The problem was solved, so that everything should work normal again. Additionally I’m working on a server update, which will reduce server response times and the likelihood of timeouts. I hope this update can be published in about a week. Sorry for the inconvenience! Please report back, when you still encounter the problem or when you lost any progress.
@RevelBase, I just want to give you a big THANK YOU for how responsive you are to player feedback and for the attention you are giving this game. It's great to see that you read the comments and reply and are actively developing the game. I hope our comments are taken positively because it's a sign that so many of us are really enjoying this game and appreciate the work you are doing.
Will there every be the opportunity to get blueprints from past events? I started after the Emerald event and wondered if I would ever have those blueprints drop in some way from expeditions or other things.
Yes of course. Blueprints will reappear in upcoming events and you will be able to get blueprints from past events via Blueprint Packs. It isn't exactly defined yet, but you will probably be able get the Emerald and Hammer blueprints after the knife event.
Suggestion: Maybe this is a premium feature that costs diamonds since it's really just a quality of life function and not essential to game play. I'd like the ability to specify in addition to starting vendors a level for vendors after the next higher item is built. Usually after I start a new run, I go behind all the auto build and remove vendors because I'd rather have them producing for possible expeditions than selling for what is mostly a very a low amount compared to the highest level item I'm building.
Thanks for your suggestion. I understand your need, but the problem is, that such features would need a much more complicated interface and this is currently out of scope. I would like to improve the Auto-Build, but this will probably a bigger update, which won't happen in the very near future.
I know you have receive this feedback before but I just wanted to add in that I feel that research and money are switched in terms of progress in the game. The main function of the game is leveling up so that you can increase your income. I think that income then should be the big obstacle for progression. Currently, it appears that research becomes the big obstacle quickly and there is very little you can do to increase research rates other than working on 2 achievements. If you work on a balancing update I'd like to see earning money be more difficult and research easier.
Thanks for the feedback. The new event adds a 3rd achievement that will increase research output. There will also be additional event medals, which permanently research some products. But I'm aware that the research is a problem for many player and I might rework this part of the game. The problem is, that there are a lot of interedependencies, which makes it a rather big change.
Suggestion: On the blueprint screen, show the score for the next achievement when filtering sets. It would be more useful to see it there instead of having to switch back to the workshop and click achievements. Maybe show 124 / 160 with 124 being the current score and 160 being the next achievement score.
The start vendors are only set when the production unit is built (increase from level 0 to 1). When you change the start vendors later, they won't be added automatically.
Waiting for invasions can take to long. I've been maxed out on all upgrades and resources at stage 9 waiting for the 40th invasion so I can move on to chapter 10. There needs to be a way to advance to the next invastion.
