Fun fact: 1 novendecillion dollars, in hundred-dollar bills, would be roughly 10^55 kg, about 100x more than all the matter in the known universe. Good luck carrying that in a briefcase.
Any time I press the button it seems like the AI just kicks it right under my players while they're in the air, or else it gets trapped between my players and they inevitably knock it into their own goal. I do much better if I don't press the buttons, let the AI stumble all over themselves, and move after they're on the ground. In other words: "A strange game...the only winning move is not to play."
A fun update for future versions would be to have an upgrade tree with specializations, so you could pick a path that would give you unique upgrades.
For example, you could specialize in the lemonade business, and some of your unique upgrades could lower the cost multiplier for lemonade stands (so you could amass a huge number of them), or continue to give you revenue boosts for every 100 units indefinitely (not just up to 1000) until you have a lemonade stand on every street corner. :-) Perhaps you could specialize in the oil business and get speed upgrades for oil rigs that you can't get any other way.
A player could swap from one upgrade path to another at a soft reset, and perhaps at other times if they sacrifice a certain # or % of AIs.
Making the choice to specialize (and forego certain upgrades to get some strong unique upgrades) would add another strategic dimension to the game and could be very enjoyable. (Not that it isn't already!)
Surprisingly addictive and fun game. The only suggestion I have: my first step, no matter the level, is sitting and waiting a while for my food meter to charge up. An upgradeable skill that lets you start with some food would cut down on the waiting without substantially unbalancing the game mechanics.
