Incremental with horrible scaling after the first 3 animals in what I can only assume is an effort to push micro transactions, because it sure wasn't a fun grind.
I sure wish I could see the actual statistics of how many people voted more than 1 star for this game since its release. It must have been all 5's since the drama after its launch to overcome the 1 star it had from crushing its own series into a pile of ads and and grinding. Weeeee bit sus.
Energy Charge, and Harpies. Never have I seen a better love story. Something about senting out 140+ harpies at the same time to fullclear any stage is so very satisfying.
To get easy badge:
Play Ruined Smithy(First level), line up 3 footman units, upgrade top row of skills for first unit near the entrance(Has passive critical strike bonuses), add another footman to clean up the mobs that get past, and keep upgrading down the line from closest to entrance to furthers from entrance. Doing this got me a total of 29 crits in one attempt.
I love it when one person makes a break for it running across the map, while my hoard of 1300 zombies converges from all sides.... I wonder if they will survive.
I have popup blockers and ad blockers turned off for this site, however so far only 1 of the 5 encrypted messages I attempted to watch for a reward have worked. I'd love to give these guys some clicks but they just are not working.
For hackers you need to gather enough cash to start recruiting them. You can generate cash by selling aliens. Basically you have to switch around the generators to balance production of resources - you should steer towards generating as many aliens ( that will produce alien tech passively) and hackers (that will reveal documents passively).
I'm at area 34 in my first run (No pp) and it's quite a large wall. I've been keeping up with units and attribute upgrades, but it still feels like I'll need a several days of play before I can reach my first prestige. Feels a little too slow.
Okay... figured out the "trick" to 14. You need to stomp the first bat on it's far left edge so you impact it lower on its body. This allows you to jump low enough to clear the ghost to the next bat.
When I stomp the first bat on 14 there is no way to avoid the spikes. Checking a walk through they seem to just barely survive but I can't seem to replicate the same jump. What's the trick...
Somewhat fun, but the progression is unreliable. Sometimes fast, sometimes slow depending on cards. Feels like a real slog even to get to 1000% prestige.
Folks if you like saving your game make sure your Kong profile name is in the top left of your game window.
I had been progressing for about 30 minutes before I read about the profile problem. Reloaded the browser and got to start from scratch again. My profile works now, but sure do wish that wasn't a thing.
Uf wish I could replicate this somehow to take some logs and see what happened. I'm assuming the kong authentication script didn't load properly and detect a Kong account and then just loaded a guest one. What's weird though, is that the game had to create a Kong account first, as if it didn't, once your Kong account would be detected over a Guest account's progress, it should've simply taken that account's progress.
Thanks for the comment, helps indicate a side of the issue no one else reported, and might help us find this weird/rare case!
Don't be silly like me... you can click the stairs on the left as well as the stairs on the right of the main hall. I missed them for the whole game.. that was a tad embarassing
