You probably shouldn't say 35 levels if we're only going to get to play 28. And the ending is pretty craptastic. The puzzle part of the game is good an interesting, just a lot of bad stuff around it. 2/5
Nice game. Obviously the pausing is an issue, but also, when performing a strike the tab switches back to Units, which is a pain if you want to quickly reload a strike after using it. (I can't count how many tanks I've accidentally build...)
My main complaint is the weapon pickup and switching. You have no idea early on whether you're about to pick up a crappy weapon and lose a great one. I think the easiest change would be to allow you to hold more than 2 weapons.
The instructions about what or how many blocks to remove need to be way more explicit. You can easily remove the required number of blocks and still not be a winner. It needs to indicate which blocks must be removed.
Lack of a pause really sucks. Cool idea but bosses are a pain (and difficult to even understand half the time) and don't really have anything to do with typing.
Possible improvement: Allow other upgrades (refresh time, damage upgrades) because it kinda sucks when you've already bought everything. Could be a use for XP/Levels
