The Rule of One is very simple. If any function of your gameplay is limited in the Kongregate build but available on some other site, you have mistakenly posted a demo, not a game, and your demo gets a One.

This does not apply to achievements (those that do not offer any gameplay effect if earned), the ability to edit or play user-created levels, gameplay-irrelevant features like score submission, or games that require some sort of account to be created but are played from Kongregate.
