Stop letting IGG and other devs post shitty unplayable energy based games on this site please. i realize they want to make money but they can make it off add revenue and ingame items that cost $ and dont actually benefit you at all. look how much money games like maplestory made with things like nx cash clothing items. either offer a free game for free, or be upfront that its pay to play. im not even going to bother with this after reading "3 energy regenerates at every half-hour one battle costs 3 energy so u can do one battle every half hour" from one of the top comments.
the "pink ball of something" is the candy smash. it occurs when you go far enough above the screen and fall back down, resulting in some splash damage and a speed boost when you land. to get through doors easier, learn to read. i.e. buy the muscular arm upgrade that helps with doors and cops.
im using chrome, and this game studders immensly. im not going to try and beat it until/unless whatever is wrong with it gets fixed, since 3 out of the 5 visable newest comments are about how the game lags.
you CANNOT afford to have unresponsive controls in a game like this. im rating it 2/5 only based on that. the graphics were good, music was generic but not that irritating, and the concept though done to death was well executed for the first 8 levels. but beyond that i consider it unplayable. to say this game is better than super meat boy is a joke; when you tell that toon where to go and what to do, he listens. mine? well he can only roll 3 blocks, landing a jump will a roll is nearly impossible, and he randomly decides not to jump about 1/3 of the time when leaving a ledge. unresponsive.
Huh, I didnt think Insomniac games actually made this till i looked at their wiki page. If the game had 0 lag whatsoever it'd be fantastic, but such is the fate of browser based gaming. I think i'll break out Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage again for some nostalgia and pass this one by for now.
since its what everyone seems to do, here's a list of things that (in my opinion) should be changed/could have been done better.
1. when you get a powerup (the ones you win off the wheel) you gain no cookies/currency from anything that you hit. i get that you gain a bit of speed, but take a look at games like burrito bison. there should never be a time where killing an enemy doesn't give you ingame money.
2. i have 91k right now and the wheel costs 5k... there should be an instant finish button for it incase you have to spin it 10 - 15 times at once.
3. when holding the mouse over the wheel prizes the price is displayed, but there is (as far as i can tell) no option to buy them individually. why not?
there are a few more but they're rather nitpicky.
I love how pretty much everything in the current top comments is in the game now. want to speed walk? click where you're going then click again. want to move everyone at once? move all. want to cycle through characters? hit shift. mind you the game does become an easy win once you've got double skill useage for the archer, mage and knight. the knight can kill anything 1v1 without getting hit. but oh well, still a good waste of 15 minutes.
I love the humour in this game. nearly every item has a good description, a lot of which made me laugh. most recently the Fish Stick weapon enemies dropped. "A fishbone on a stick. Good job, foe"
...well thats random. there's a spot in the bottom right of the first town that you can walk extremely fast for about 2 steps. to the right of the inn, by the chunk of castle or whatever it is.
as i only use chrome to play flash games, im not sure what shortcut i just hit... but having control as a boost is a REALLY bad idea since while playing i just managed to close the tab this was open in... kind of a pain in the ass. make it shift or space place, or better yet, customizable.
Suggestion for a feature; make the surrender button into a skin button during tournaments. i accidentally clicked start instead of skip on an opponent match and was stuck watching two tank oriented teams battle it out for a while.
I've been playing this game for more than half an hour and I'm still immersed in the story. the writing is slightly cheesy but well done in general. the characters are believable and the background music fits absolutely perfect. good job; I look forward to getting into the actual game aspect.
my bullets shouldnt hurt the generator... alternatly there should be a KEYBOARD hotkey for the activation of the 3x speed thing. twice in a row now i've killed all the zombies in an area, got to the generator... and fking shot it by accident instead of starting the 3x build speed.
i love this game and wish there were a sequel, as i've beaten it on addicting games, newgrounds, and now that i have an account im playing it here.. but i've got to say, i know there are 3 top comments saying NOT to do it, one even has 10k+ thumbs up... but i threw it backwards and half expected nothing to happen. task manager > firefox lol... >_<
@ Deadshiv - thats because flash games work with temp files. close your browser and you're more than likely to lose most of your progress. also, Mi is not a word. My, Me. pick one.
