It can have the same theme but there has to be something difrent about it, something that stands out from other games following the same theme. Secondly, try to focus mainly on the gameplay, a storyline and a few cut scenes make the game more intresting and adds suspense, but don’t over flow your game with difrent cut scenes and videos. The most important aspect of gameing is the gameplay, it’s what makes a game fun and enjoyable. Thirdly, before publishing a game think to yourself, would I play this game? Is this enjoyable. Never give up on your game if no one likes it, read there comments and improve upon them. Hope I helped.
