I'd like to play this game through, as I love the idea of Shift. But there are so many problems, it's just ridiculous. Lag, as mentioned by many other people, the fact that your character takes up more than one 'block' or unit of space, so you can't shift into some places, the new graphics are average, and the list goes on. The good points are a) movable blocks and b) grey squares. 2/5 :( A disappointing new chapter for Shift.
Viricide? Sister game? Woah. Just realised, the events of this game kinda coincide with those of viricide. Creepy. But 5/5 for a great game, concept, and having a sister game.
@olazawhat - the program they use to develop these games is called Flixel. All games created with Flixel will have the same loading screen and pause menu, as they come with the program.
Btw, a game must have a rating over 4.10 to get badges. This game has 3.67. Rate the game highly if you want badges on it, or there won't be any. Rate up for others to see.
The reason there are not badges is because the developer has not implemented Kong API, which is essential for both highscores and badges. Vote this up so people will stop moaning...
Everybody who wants badges, think for a moment. Does this game have Kong API? No. Does this game have a rating over 4.10? No. Does this game have anything worth turning into a badge? maybe an easy for finishing all tracks.
Anyway, its a brilliant idea, just poorly executed. sometimes, if you have a solid block of a colour, then you change into that colour while inside it, you get stuck and are forced to restart. The levels are all fairly easy, until the last one, which seems to be impossible.
Overall, 3/5 and stop with the 'Give it badges!!!!!!!!!'
All those who say 'need badges', i would like to explain how it works.
When a game has Kong API (if it does, it should have hiscores) and a rating of over 4.10 (currently, it is on 4.04), then it is in the running.
Greg will then play the game, and decide if it deserves badges.
Thank you, and shut up.
