I don't know, I LIKE it, but little annoyed when the devil's dragonfly can chase you through walls and corner you, thus making you unable to escape with no option but to die and start at the checkpoint again. I'm not good at this game, it's like one of those 'don't touch the wall maze' games that buzzes you when the metal ball touches the wire at the edge. And I hate those games. ONly reason I think I wanted to really beat this one is I enjoy the atmosphere, music and artwork. Despite just being a fancied up buzzer maze game.
It'd be nice if you had the option to turn off battle animation all together. I get bored of waiting for the baddies to hit me and my dude to do all the fancy flips and such.
Okay... I expected this to be either like a part II or somehow different from the other Dracula's Castle.. But when this loaded it showed all the levels were beaten. Which means it isn't just the same as the other game, it IS the other game? I'm confused... The revival was just posting the game again so more people saw it?
My one complaint, that the minute you enter travel mode, you are a homing beacon to EVERY SINGLE ROBBER OUT THERE. I mean, really? other that that I quite enjoy it.
I rated this a 3, I considered a 2. Not because I didn't like the game, I did enjoy it up to a point but I had some control issues where I'd stop pushing the left/right arrow but my little guy (girl? Sorta looks like a dress.. anyway) would not stop running. This made some of those timed block jumps very difficult and after having to redo the same area probably 10+ times because the little thing would run off and onto the spikes, I decided enough was enough and quit.
Sound? What sound? Oh THAT sound... That is the sound of my teeth being ground into dust as I try, and try, and TRY to beat the Tower of Glory. I think it's time to cal it a night and try again in the morning because the more frustrated I get the faster I lose!
There were a few times I KNOW I timed it right but it didn't respond. I think I had a bit of trouble with lagging even though I turned quality to low, but that might just be my computer. That being said I still favorited and gave it 5/5 for beauty, enjoyment, and a gripping story. I love the voices, particularly our narrator.
Aargh, it's like it KNOWS. It knows I have ONE tiny bit of web left after total destruction, sends all the little stuff to the other side where I can't reach, and then throws something huge through my last remaining hope, ripping it to shreds! Leaving my poor arachnid to starve, watching all these retarded bugs fly past. I suck as a spider.
Yeah so I played 1, 2, and 3 because I wanted to see the story progression. But when the face starts popping up while I'm trying to write some number code and I had to drop my pen and start shooting it, I said f* it.
I like it, though I do wish it were possible to "lock" some of the unit types from evolving on green tiles, particularly if there's a place where it's possible to NOT step on green, but it takes such a long time to carefully walk the units past it without touching.
And he's always got one too :P
