When you notice the hard badge is less earned than the impossible badge so you think they're both impossibles, so you earned the easy and medium badges and be done with the game... forever...
You don't need to win the game for the hard badge, just survive long enough to lose to the final order of 720 crates of tea. That way you have enough time to gain points by buying and selling opium. Try not to miss out on selling to any non-risky ports. You don't need to make profits from opium because you can still gain points by breaking even or even making a loss. Make just enough profit to satisfy the tea requirement. For risky ports, however, only sell once you have enough ships or a bribe card and can gain a huge profit (many crates and 90+ silver per crate). I got 115m points by doing as mentioned. :)
On level 23, my bridge broke halfway through and one worker fell but the other worker reached the destination... I was surprised to have passed the level xD
Hooray to my first top comment! Kongregate REALLY wants us to suffer by putting BotD on the rarer medium badge when in fact they could’ve chosen the easy badge OR the commoner medium badge. *facepalm*
A very fun game with a cool concept! On top of that your active responses are greatly appreciated by players. 5/5 without a doubt. Sometimes it's so fast paced that I don't know what's happening (maybe because I hit so goddamn fast with Berserk haha) but I somehow managed to kill the last boss with just 2 skills (Whirlwind + Berserk) and I don't even have any complete equipment set. One suggestion: Since it's so fast paced and we have to decide quickly, it will help if the stats on equipments are clearer so that we can see everything with just one look. (Or maybe I just shouldn't use Berserk + Whirlwind xD)
Thanks for playing and those are good points. One big design issue I had was figuring out how to fit all that info into a tiny Kong window. If I ever make a full version for Steam or something, that extra real estate will go a long way in making things more legible. Yep the game can get very fast paced as you move forward, and I'm glad you managed to handle it! And as always, I appreciate all your comments just as much. It helps guide me to become a better dev so I don't mind replying to people.
"Sir there's a coinbox that gives unlimited cash. Shall we use it to end financial crisis, hunger and poverty?" "No let's nuke it out of this world so no one can ever use it!"
For level 12, just click on one single ball in the centre and hope that the chain reaction reaches the whole screen. Don't click and explode too many balls in the centre because that reduces the number of balls left for the chain reaction.
