I don't understand the strategy used by some games which discourages you from playing unless you pay (e.g. having to buy "energy"). I can justify paying for a sweet upgrade, but I will not shell out money to simply be able to play the next level.

This game reminds me of some game your grandmother would buy your that's supposed to be education in disguise (e.g. killing monsters with math) - simplistic, easy and uninteresting. I initially gave it a 2/5 but bumped it up to 3/5 for the Big Lebowski reference at the end.

4/5. Great idea and lots of fun to play, but with technical problems. Improvements: It’s difficult to move around the battlefield - a zoom feature or the ability to move the screen with WASD would help. Controlling each individual character is time consuming and repetitive, why not use a system where we can place each character at the beginning of the battle and give them orders (defensive, aggressive, etc.) and let them fight automatically. The menu system needs an overhaul. I’d like to have more information about how the item we're buying is priced relative to average (red price = above average, green = below). It would also be helpful to have a list of cargo from heaviest to lightest. Autosave. The world could use a little more cohesiveness. There are Russian dudes wielding scimitars while riding donkeys next to German men with sniper rifles in Hummers in towns that sound Middle Eastern but with a sheriff from the American wild west. Where (and when) the hell are we?

First time I played the first level: 5/5. Every other level I've played: 1/5. Game is laggy, overly difficult, repetitive and gives you no sense of progression or accomplishment. Looking forward to the improved sequel (different levels featuring new enemies, upgradeable skills, a less steep progression of difficulty, improved units, ability to play as zombies, ability to improve base from level to level without losing upgrades between levels). Tons of potential but poorly executed.
