Re: where I see the game going: lots of stuff. Different ship types with different weapons (cruisers, Q-ships, patrol boats), different subs (Jap, German, US), convoys with convoy attack patterns (see http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/worldwars/wwtwo/launch_gms_battle_atlantic.shtml for ideas) different sea/weather conditions, radar upgrades, air support, campaign system with upgrades, crewmembers, a bridge scene where you look away from the sonar and interact with/upgrade bridge crew, look out the window etc etc etc
