Try to think of portfolio presntation like a novel - 1) first chapter 2) main story 3) finale 4) glossary
1) start with a "Pow!" with something that you're really proud of that will grip the viewer's attention.
2) follow with the bulk of your work very well presented / themed with short pithy titles to explain your sources or what you were trying to achieve.
3) end on a "Bang!" with your second most important work which will remain in the viewer's mind
4) for "Glossary" include all your sketch book and research material which will show your working methods and how inquisitive your mind is.
Don't be afraid to critisise your own work.
