Such a fun game! Definitely a challenge in parts, especially the last room, but only once did I find it "unfair" in how specific you needed to be delivering a bomb. People, just because you are no good at this game does not mean it deserves a lesser star rating. 5/5
I get on to the game, select act 1 day 1, build my buildings, it says orcs are coming....and they never show. All the buttons and keys are still working. Sigh.
Anyone saying not to aim is wrong. Yes, defense is number one priority but you can give yourself a massive advantage by steadying your character. Try a few taps of the up key to even yourself out, especially between levels is a good time to do it. Ships can go down in as little as three seconds with focused shooting. It can also help you from getting ganged up on and having to make insane dodges to survive. I regularly finish the game with 25-30 lives left.
Trick to getting the hard badge: There is a limit to how many enemies can be spawned at one time. Run around the arena in a large circle while letting the enemy spawn hit its max, but make sure to take out every archer guy you see. Once the spawn is at its max of all sword enemies, take out a few of them at a time (as tempting as it is to take out the whole bunch at once). As they respawn take out all archers immediately and repeat. If you're patient you should have 150 kills in no time. + this comment if helpful
I like the idea but it doesn't seem the ghosts have patterns like they do in the original Pac Man so it makes it more of a crapshoot/luck whether or not you're going to run into a ghost or whether you will avoid them. I got to level 3 and score 11k points no idea how to get good enough to get that badge.
I was having the same problem with world 2 badge. I had the hard badge but not that one. All you have to do is click submit chapter time on that world.
I admit I cheated on the last 5 levels but not because I couldn't figure it out I was just bored with the idea of how long it would take to get it. Fun game!
Love this game not as hard as people are saying. If you need to upgrade just max out charge and armor in the shipyard with speed at level 4, and cannonball to max and tortoise shield at least level 1 in the weapon shop. To beat the Kraken know that you can sail through the lightning without taking damage. Take out the four turrets in the corner then when you're fighting the Kraken itself make sure to stay out of that black circle around him and keep circling him with fire and he should go down fairly easily.
I had no memory of what Company of Myself was while playing Fixation. Now I remember it's that fantastic game with the sad story. Both are excellent and challenging
