Great, Moric (as a zombie, in his ship) can more or less one-hit-kill all of the team... If I had brought a ton of those feathers, it might have worked, but come on, he's maybe a little imba...
Wiggles, Dr. Klima is easy with very little study, at least if you're playing psy...
Traumatize twice, retrogade, repeat 3-4 times or so, and he's gone.
Baron is easy, easy fight. Just steal his focus, he more or less kills himself. As a Bio, use Disrupt, as Psy, use Traumatize and Haunt. Also as Psy, use Free Will to counter the Tick-Tock move entirely.
fishbro, I don't like your language, why calling people retarded and idiots?
Anyway, must've remembered the bosses wrong, so it's in one of the other Epic Wars that the spam hobbit move is the winning one, my bad.
btw, thx for calling me a noob, but I do have the badge ;)
To beat the lord of hell: Angels and hobbits. Spam hobbits to slow him down, send angels as much as you can to actually hurt him, and to take care of his followers.
Braduz, ain't that the doctor that heals himself like 20K in a pattern that can easily be foreseen?
Wouldn't it be nice if you had the ability to turn healing into damage and vice versa? ;)
Oh well, restarted, finished the game... And theres no need to go all in for the water domain, I found it by far easiest to defend myself with the rocket thingy's, stealth tanks and raptors. If you start by clearing the sea of enemy battlecruisers, then you can fend off the condor's quite easily, and in some time, retake the water to finish off the immobile guns with a battlecruiser or two. Had almost all initial tanks left when I finished the map, only think I lost my fleet, 4-6 raptors a stealth tank and a spider...
Ach mein gott!! The game kindda froze on me, ie. I couldn't select or move any units, but I could still save and quit the game. Got out, pressed continue, entered a still frozen game.. Refreshed the page, and now no continue!!! And I was freaggin winning lvl 10 on hard, comp. was out of ressources, defenses where in place, plenty of my units living and kicking the comp. Frustrated? Just a tad...
Oh well, found the 'secret'... If you wanna play a wicked easy game, start as far east empire, choose Sieg, fool around untill he's a high level, take the far east capital, just loose all Siegs armor and he won't take much damage from that 1-kill blow, buy a lot of the ninjas who normally kills your entire army, win every battle without loosing more than 10 total... Good game, except for the extreme imba of far east empire...
Am I the only one finding the capital of the far east empire almost impossible to conquer, since most of the enemy units can kill my hero with 1 freaggin' blow... extremely imba
My massive portal strategy was the simplest ever, place 8 mages on the 8 paved tiles there is to start with. Don't upgrade them untill you're done with fire, then go cold for all of them. Make them each their own specialty, but go general and destructor on all upgrades. Make sure to upgrade the two standing behind before the two in front, so that they'll follow up nicely, and the two in front doesn't eat up all the xp. Depending on how the spawn happens, you can do this and loose 0 lives. If you find yourself pressed, pave way for 1 extra mage in each corner, and go cold, infect, inflictor on thoose two.
LOL! I waited with the cave of trials 5 untill I had all cards, and most of them maxed out, shivering with fear of this apparently hard level I loaded it - and found the by far easiest level in the game... I didn't even get 100K money from it, so fast was it over... Had Dragon Rider, Mermaid, Witch, Succubus, Dwarf engineer and centaur equipped. Had comet, heal, arrows, hercules, athena and freeze for spells. Didn't get much use of Hercules and Athena though, since they only charged up once (was only lvl 5 too). Just played around with my units back and forth, untill around 2/3 was in, then sent all forward, and won the level no trouble. The famed invisible goblin never even got free of its own castle...
So far, this game is even easier then the previous, especially if you have enough patience to just wait for the xp and money to tick in, before winning the early levels.... But hey, wasn't there a storyline in the earlier editions....?
@l1nk1np4rk: barbarians might not seem so cool in the start, but when you get them going with brutality and vengeance, and a good weapon (like the minotaurs axe), you can start making a lot of 1 hit kills - which is pretty nice :)
sleepingfox, not sure which one you means, but aren't that the ones where you get 'Orb of Power'? The one that will grant an item +2 Power regeneration?
seriously, this game is the lamest ever... many levels has nothing to do with puzzles, only with you having a good mouse and quick reactions. In puzzle games, you need your brain, in this game, you need luck, patience without reward, and quick mouse movement and clicking - no brain, no thinking - no puzzles.
Level 19 in particular annoys me...
