Also how is it that the enemy can pull Yog Sothoth on the first draw but I can't get it ever? That's pretty much the only possible way i can see of beating challenge 15.
First: when I play blackmail, the enemy chooses a card that turn, and still gets to play the next turn, but when the enemy uses black mail, i have to wait until the next turn to choose a card, and the enemy still gets to play one, so effectively I lose a turn but the enemy doesn't. The rules should be the same for the enemy as they are for me, and this only plays into the next gripe.
Second: the enemy can see what I'm playing before he chooses his move. Given the 17% chance that ballesta25 mentioned, the enemy shouldn't NEVER be playing an attack when I happen to use Elder Sign. The only possible explanation is that the computer is literally a f*cking cheater.
I've completed level 2 in 5 turns without taking any damage whatsoever, and the game refuses to give me the ruby badge even though it states that I need to finish the level in under 6 turns and take less than 20 damage. Either their is a typo in the description, or the game is broken.
Seriously, there needs to be an exit level option, having the patience to reload the game every time you die isn't listed anywhere in the impossible badge criteria.
The disease has absolutely no symptoms, and yet governments have begun taking measures to prevent infection? Madagascar is isolated, so it makes sense it would be unaffected, but Western Europe and CHINA are unaffected? And the accumulation of evolution points plummets even though almost the entire planet is infected! Explain to what the criteria for accruing those points is, last I checked viruses still mutate inside of a host, new infections shouldn't be the basis. And this is on REALISTIC mode? There is just so much wrong with this game it isn't even funny. Seriously, it isn't even funny.
It might be a good idea if the setting menu didn't pop up every time in went from play field to level map, and an even better idea if the progress reset wasn't dead center of the screen. I think you can gather my grievance at this point. It isn't even a hard fix, just move it.
I retract my previous rating of 0/5, the game is still quite playable, and in fact a very fun game, it would have been better if there were more levels though, despite the replay value it's very short, that combined with the glitch I mentioned before takes away from it overall, I say 3.5/5
For some reason every 2 seconds the character starts moving in one direction, the only way to stop him from moving is to press the button in that direction, I've noticed this in other games, but it generally isn't too much of a problem, with this one however, it's impossible to notice that it's happening until after you've run off a cliff and straight into the path of an enemy missile or spikes. It makes the game seriously unplayable and until it's fixed my rating will remain a staunch 0/5.
for anyone who is having trouble loading, just clear the browsers cookies and temp files, and if it persists, open the game up in two tabs, the first at elementsthegame.com and the second here, it'll load fine, once it loads, close the elementsthegame.com tab.
why don't the creators of these kind of games make it so that walking through camp fires causes damage to both the player and the enemies, it would add an extra dynamic to combat as well as realism to the game.
