I wanted to finish the game to give my opinion with the best accuracy, but I'm unable to get to the end, so I'll do it now.
First: It's awesome to see you expanding this universe, the first game was great, and the puzzles didn't seem to change that much in difficulty IRC.
Second: An arrow on the rollin platforms, showing us the direction in which it goes, would be perfect for when you want to think in the level while paused
Third: Blueprint tests, Unstable Zone Medium 3 seems to be shooting out the second spark a tad too fast. Tried the level a lot doing THML but the fastest I did only got my half a second late. I wasn't able to get any better time with other combination
Fourth: It would be nice if you gave us a walkthrough, even if written, since the game just came out and you're pretty good at making hard as heck puzzles :p
Thanks for the comments! To your 2nd point: On the conveyor belt wheels there are three yellow arrows showing the direction of rotation - try zooming in if you can't see them. 3rd point: Speeds can be slightly 'unstable' when speeding up - don't hold shift for that test and you might have better luck. 4th point: http://wigdev.com/2019/05/19/thoughts-about-walkthroughs/
It needs a lot of improvement. Some of the "earth walls" have holes that can be easily mistaken by secret passages. also, as I've seen one block corner that you forgot to outline (sorry, can't remember where, just that it's connected to a red door), which could be used to make the secret passages clearer (like a hint of their entrance and exit). The controls weren't really bad, but maybe you could change flying to holding x and also make the overall pace of the game just a bit slower. Last, but not least, you should add a tutorial, a good story, some music (and mute button) and a map. That's it for now, gave it a 3 but I'm sure you can improve it, which'll effect this rating.
Good work, and keep it going!
game seems to have a memory leak whenever you change the scene. Whenever I get to the point to enter Daphne's apartment, it freezes and I have to start from scratch
That's very strange, we never met such event until now. We'll try to understand what it may be; could you try to play on another pc, to see if it happens again?
The game is nice, but the wall jump mechanic really needs some tweaking, as it's too squishy right now, other than that, the scream ability should affect the screen(costing more hearts or simply having more range), since as someone said, it's kinda useless to jump in a horde of enemies to use it, as you'll die quickly while getting there. Also, the sentries fire too fast.
I'd give a 3,5/5, but since I can't and the things I'm mentioning transformed the game from a 5 minute run to probably 12, since they affect the gameplay, I'm giving you a 3. If you ever change those things, I'm coming back to make it a 4.
Keep up the good work
Thank you for the feedback, yea, scream needs some range indeed, but you won't get killed while you're using it since you became indestructible in the process (that's in the tips description, sorry that isn't in-game), I'll see if I can tweak those things this weekend. cheers!
The game is awesome, it really makes you think when you see that you can't chose things like peace or love, just because that doesn't go viral. I'm sure your message was delivered to anyone who's over 15 at least, and I really hope to see more of your work(in general).
Just please take off the buzzing sound
I loved the game, but sometimes when I jump the screen would freeze for a little, making it way harder to play, but I still managed to complete all levels with 3 stars
The lack of a mute button in games is still a mistery, everytime a dev doesn't add a mute button, they get a flood of comments, but this game managed to fit in this category of devs and didn't add the mute button
I really loved the game,it was perfect but I think you should add R for reset. And I don't know if it's a bug or whatever, but if you hit the bottom of a square,it counts as on top,but you can still hit it for the block to disappear if it's 2 layers, but if you do so,the block only will be invisible, maybe you could do some levels wich require hitting the block from the bottom,or finding a way to say we shouldn't hit the bottom
I really wanted to give this game a 5,but here's why I shouldn't:
It isn't like the other belial games(no puzzle needed,just travel a lot):-1
He doesn't looks neither like belial or baal:-1
It doesn't explain the history as you said on belial 2 or 2.5:-1
I'm giving this game a 2 because it's better than 1 and it's your first mistake,I mean, really, just make the real belial 3 that we're waiting
I'm suffering from some lag spikes, but the game is still awesome, congratulations buddy,I was waiting for this since you gave the iphone version for free, definitely will buy on steam
It's a good game,as always, but the fact that I have to wander around without any clue about the pixels is kinda bad,you should use something to let us know where are them
