For some reason, whenever i go fullscreen, the game looks blurry, and the cursor dissapears, replaced by a normal mouse arrow. It is a small annoyance to not be able to play fullscreen, but still. Does anybody know why I am having this problem?
I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I think it would be nice if you could navigate the crafting and store menus with arrow keys. It would be much nicer when I'm looking for a specific stat (such as ice defense) for a potion if I could just move around without needing to continually click with my mouse, especially when I'm using a trackpad.
I like Paladog, the only major complaint I have with it is that it is too repetitive. You have to play 2 normal levels to get one special level, and 2 of the special levels are basically normals anyway. That makes the ratio of normals to specials 10:2 or 5:1. Turns the game into quite a grind. Reducing the ratio of normals to specials, adding more specials, and/or increasing variety of gameplay would make the game a lot better. If there is a Paladog 2, I would greatly love to see some of this stuff implemented in it.
I have to agree with Sasuke and Narinik, if we got credits from losing rounds, the game would improve drastically. Even half or something would be far better than nothing. Whenever I die in a level I think, "Well at least I can upgrade something to make the level a little easier and then try again... oh wait. Nevermind, all that work was for nothing."
I really like this game. It involves some player skill with quests, upgrades, decent graphics, enemies of improving difficulty, and a good user interface. Drawbacks are the game isn't difficult enough, at times I feel like I'm doing too well and I shouldn't be this far along. I would be giving it a 4/5 because of this, except the developer of the game replies to comments and promptly updates the game based on feedback from players. That makes it an easy 5/5. Good work SilenGames.
Is anybody else getting locked out of the game by the stupid Kabam ads? I go in the nexus, but the screen is dark and I can't click on anything because the ad didn't load yet. Sometimes, if I refresh it does, and then I can exit it, but sometimes it is just a butt.
I like the game, but one thing that bugs me is if you play the early campaign levels on hard or insane, you still have to deal with the instructions the game gives you, the forced cutscenes and slow dialogue/storyline parts.
The problem I see, besides maxing production and money generation, is that the higher level tanks still only take one health away from structures, and you produce far fewer of the advanced tanks. This steered me into building gun tanks early before my laser tanks, but if I decide to select all tanks using "w", my laser tanks kamikaze on the buildings, doing virtually nothing.
Take note guys. You only get experience the first time you play a level. So if you want to get your squads as high a level as possible, replay levels till you have to enough money to buy all available squads before playing new levels. That way, the most experience possible is gained.
I really love this game but I think the upgrade system could use improvement. Like Eimazein stated, it would be nice to see which upgrades you have between battles on a stats screen. Also, I think it is ridiculous to have some of the skills go up to 20. Who is going to put twenty points into one skill? Do you know how many times you would have to level up just to max food production and prayer? Besides, that would have to mean that either the skills were overpowered, or not worth it. IMHO I think the skills should max at 10 levels. This way there are reasonable goals and you can see more visible changes.
The house for sale is next to the 'Housing houses' sign. But it's inside the Housing houses store that you actually buy it.
