if you're using basic, don't hold any notes. you won't miss any points or mess up your combo, but missing a single hold can take your game from perfect to fail in less than a second.

1) The timing of some notes is a bit off; not by much (like a 32nd note) but enough to screw up and get kicked out. 2) Make it so that if you hold a wrong note it still only counts as one note, not several. Can't tell how many times I've been kicked off for holding the right note with the timing a bit off. 3) This game is awesome and despite those two issue deserves 5/5.

It'd be nice if I could switch between groups without the screen going to whichever group I select. Maybe make the screen go to the group if I press the same group number twice in a row; once to select, twice to goto.

Getting, for lack of a better word, "lag". I'm using Flash 10,1,85,3 and right after the base-building tutorial, the entire game suddenly slows down to a crawl when I build the HQ, even on low quality. Before, on high-quality, everything was fine. It seems like it might be a great game, but I can't play it until that's fixed.

There should be an option to redistribute your points. My tank mutant can't get past Black Blades even w/2 hires because he can't hit them more than 1 in 8 shots after they use Intimidation, which only lasts 5 turns but they shoot it every 5 turns. They can't kill him. He can't kill them. 2 hours later, they're still whacking away to no avail.

I get a bug where I can't see how much repairs will cost. Sequence: 1. Select, upgrade, or unlock anything. 2. Mouse over any repair button at any point during the same building/upgrading phase. 3. No longer can see how much repairs will cost for the rest of the battle, even during subsequent building phases. It's a minor bug but somewhat annoying.

Every time I use a spell, I lose the ability to change equipment (disappears when I try to put it in a slot), use any non-spells (including the Escape Wings), and the save button stops working, so I essentially lose all progress made that round. Good idea, but still needs more bugs worked through.

Fun game. Just noticed 2 bugs: 1. Even though I've upgraded saving and all, all my ship's weapons will disappear between waves, randomly. As in, after most waves, I still have my weapons, then after some wave do not. 2. If you click to buy a weapon, but then click "sell", you have to click it twice to sell the weapon. Effectively, you sell the same weapon twice and earn twice the gold.

Once you know to spam destroyers, it becomes much easier. Frigates against subs, and a few battleships, and you're pretty set; just send them out in waves and save points in between to counter the massive enemy counter-attacks. Only this is, I'm not sure why bother making the game with a build-up/upgrade phase if the only way to win is to spend the first part upgrading everything while you take out patrol boats and frigates.

seriously, challenge 4 is insane due to bad player ai and even worse controls. make it so that you don't have to click-drag all the time, and so that the robots don't wander away from the target for no good reason. you'd think the ai would attempt to keep the only enemy within its weapon range.
