There's a minor bug when you exit the sandbox. It goes back to the main screen, but the "Are you sure you want to quit" popup stays open until you hit "No."
Actually, I just thought of something for replay value: have a "high score" mode at the end. If you complete the game, you get access to a new resource called "money" or "points" or something that you can craft existing resources into (say the recipe is 5x each gemstone or 5x each level 3 metal bar). Maybe make it so you get more in-game badges for getting certain thresholds of points, or maybe some bonus log entries, or something.
The ending was...interesting. I take it there's a sequel in the works? Please let there be a sequel in the works. I loved playing this game, although I agree that it has low replay value. On my personal scale, it's a 4.75/5, so I gave it a 5.
When they make badges for this, they should make an Extreme badge for reaching wave 100 in Survival mode. Love this game. SO COOL. 5/5 only because I can't give it 10/5.
This is a great game indeed. Risk-based, yes, but with a fog of war, and a Diplomacy-style orders system where all the players give instructions simultaneously each turn before they're carried out. I love it! 5/5.
It's a great game. It's sort of sad that I was able to get the hard badge before the medium badge. Recommend the tutorial, because I think I would have gotten them in order if I had done it first -- points just takes patience, spin speed takes a better understanding of the game. Still, love the game, love the simplicity, love the theme. If people really do want more complexity, maybe you could add a "sandbox" mode where you can control how many other squares you start with?
