Say you're on the Crew screen and you mouse over Diplomacy, for example. The tooltip pop-up could say something to the effect of: "Helps during Exploration missions in blue areas of a planet's surface." So you know that the higher that skill, the more likely you will succeed in blue areas while doing exploration missions.
Also, please make it so the chat window does not overlap other windows. I can still see the chat window while im looking at other screens (cargo, planet, etc.)
A fun game which has a lot of potential :)
Some feedback: When you have landed on Earth, in the upper left corner Earth is mispelled as Erath.
A hover-over tooltip for Crew skills may be helpful. So you know what each one is for. Say when you do the first exploration mission, a tutorial screen pops up that explains what each crew skill is for. Also, how to get more crew members. After finishing the Earth exploration ground missions, the tutorial missions just stopped. It may be helpful to explain to the player what each crew skill is for; as in how they help the crew members during the exploration missions.
Do Swarmling II's count toward achievements? It says hatch 1 trillion swarmlings; I empowered mine so now they're Swarmling II but the achievement bar isn't moving.
*Wish Kongregate would let you edit* I love this game. Its the most fun Ive had playing a game on this site (or any site.)
The goal, as established, is to get your soda can. You upgrade your skills and stats to get more money, to get stronger, to attack the machine. With the goal of getting the soda. Yet there is no mechanism provide to allow the player to accomplish the goal which has been set forth before them.
Wait, is there no way to win? I used the strongest Special (Sacrifice for 90) and nothing happened....the move went off. A promising game with an anti-climatic "end".
I found a way w/o needing to assign number keys to the action bar boxes: make sure your mouse is hovering over the ability you want to use next. While the ability you just activated is running (the bar that fills up as the animation progresses) you can get your mouse over and ready to click the next one that you want to use. there is still a SLIGHT delay, a small amount of time where Patience can run down, but it's a negligible amount if you click quickly enough.
Numbers would be better, but that works almost as well (clicking the next ability and not wasting any, or at least not a lot, of patience between ability uses.)
The Dragon (Fire 2) is my favorite. My mouth fell open in shock when I saw that dragon burst out of the ground.
This is a wonderful game; i love the humor (different attacks, the animations after the Patience level hits 0. My favorites being the sleeping one, the ufo green beam, and zombies :)
I also like the sense of progression and leveling up to get better attacks and other upgrades.
One recommendation: Please assign numbers to the ability bar. So we can hit 1, 2, 3, etc instead of having to click. Not only would that mean less clicking, but we could use our skills faster. Instead of moving the mouse around, which takes time while Patience runs down, hitting a key would be quicker and easier.
@ 16779846541 Who mentioned the coins: You do not need to shoot the coins. I was noticing the bullets passing right thru the coins and other collectibles when i realized: You just need to mouse over the coins and other collectibles. No clicking, just put your mouse cursor and other collectibles and you'll get them :)
What makes you think its misspelled :) Thanks for the feedback!
