ladyvixenshewolf That's because you used bonus from cards or equipement to have bonus crusaders, if you remove these bonuses, the crusaders stay on monsters but if you remove them you lose them, put your bonuses back to gets you crusaders back.
The Pawns now move exactly like they do in real Chess, which I agree can feel a little weird if you don't know the context, but it's been that way for hundreds of years. :) I even dropped the extra rules for the extra conditions for moving 2 spaces, or en passant - they're complicated enough without them, haha.
I really think you should buff the kill counts upgrade or at least lower the price raise. It gets very tedious to advance in the purgatory, complete the contracts and finish the pachinko machine tasks.
