You need to go ahead and remove all traces of the "buy more energy" or at least put something that doesn't say that it is only temporarily unavailable.
I'd like more stocks to invest in and I'd like to see stock that goes down and goes out because as it is now I know that no matter what it will bounce back up eventually.
Energy bars are preferable for a game like this and everyone seems to have a real problem with that which is odd. Word of advice check out how the game Clout deals with energy regen and how to up your energy and what good and bad comes with it. Perhaps you could take inspiration from it.
Please keep in mind that here on Kongregate if you have in game transactions your game WILL be mass downrated by assholes. It's no joke and has ruined many very good games.
Cannons I love what you've got here and feel like it is underrated let me know if there is anything I can do to help you. I am the man behind the original promotion and ideas guy for Mutilate a Doll and Clout. I'm more than happy to help you out as I see equal potential in this game.
Not sure what you mean. Unless you're just buying gear to try making more cash via "campaign contributions", you're more trading cash for effectiveness in other areas.
You'll have to just take my word for it though as I won't release all the numbers and logs and notes to anybody. It wouldn't be an advantage if everyone knew all the little details. :3
@Weirdguy, back in the day I did a lot of testing of various plays and gear and such. You can definitely tell a difference if you sit down and log all the data presented and experiment with gear/stat changes/play power/stress levels and such. The only mechanic I've still yet to conclusively observe is the one where play power is increases very slightly depending on who your cronies are. It's either so slight that it makes literally no difference or isn't working. Though it may have been a mistake of some sort on my end.
I wonder if playing a congressional "simulator" (even if it's satirical) where we can kill the president and fellow congressmen has gotten us all on some government watchlist.
I had hoped there wouldn't be any problems related to that since you play as a congressperson yourself... but who knows. I mean, technically we're all being watched by the NSA, so I'm not sure it even matters?
Personally I think that you should make your mobile app game first since it's being in the app stores should give it and the rest of your games a lot of exposure.
I do need to coordinate with a friend of mine on that one. It'll have graphics, so I can't just do it all myself. Trust me; you don't want me doing the graphics.
Yeah we created it many years ago. But i found this website. So i posted it here. :)
