STOP FLAMING GAMES BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE BADGES! Seriously! It is Greg's decision whether a game gets a badge and when, not the person who makes the game. Your rating shouldn't have anything to do with badges! Arggh.
Anyway the game is awesome and super-creepy, original art style and tricky puzzles, 5/5.
@cathaer: Huh? The save function and gameplay elements are the developer's problem, but saying "needs badges" is dumb. Developers have no control on if or when they get badges. That is Kongregate's decision.
The first time I played this the very very last difference on the sunrise page, no matter how many times I clicked on it, wouldn't register. But I refreshed and then it worked. I think because I tried to use the hint before the sun was finished rising.
Loved it, one piece of advice, make it so you can sell things. At the moment if you run out of money before successfully completing a mission, you have no choice but to restart.
I agree that the music is too soothing and monotonous for a game of this kind. Tower defense already tends to feel like a grind, the music is one of your weapons to combat this.
Nice premise though and old school pixel feel. 3/5
It looks really good, but the left and right buttons turn the camera too fast, so it's hard to figure out what's going on and get in a position to actually punch the other panda.
Ok, I came back to play now that it's fixed. I think it would be helpful if the game gave some hints or something when you fail. These are casual games, the amount of time I just try trial and error is pretty small. I've played for about 20 minutes now and I still have no idea how to increase work ethic. Maybe I'll play it if someone posts tips, but at the moment it's just not fun for me.
The animation after you fry is really cute, but the graphics during the game are kind of plain. Maybe a background would help? Some of the powerups are not very helpful (the grab the platform one).
Having to start again at the beginning of the tutorial if you fall is lame. I assumed that being a tutorial there wouldn't be any consequences so I just let myself fall while I read the blurb. Not going to retread the same ground now, so I'll try another game.
