at the beginning of every battle, zerg every single open node no matter how far away it is and every battle will be easy. For skills, just focus on using genes that net you a positive number of bonuses.
Just beat the game and I gotta ask... what the heck is the point of tactical mode? I thought for sure at some point there was going to be a story line quest that required me to take on the Revenant's army that he supposedly amassed.
Hints: 1. The wrapping paper on the gifts is important, 2. The pattern on the curtains is important 3. The direction of the stockings on the fireplace is important.
I had a lot of trouble with level 15, I think it was bugged. I solved it correctly several times, but it kept saying failed. Finally was able to get past it doing yellow click last.
I feel like this game was rushed. Poorly translated, unbalanced, and care wasn't taken to make the code run efficiently or clean up after its memory leaks. It crashes after half an hour to an hour of playing. Good concept, just, finish it the right way.
lol why would I "dodge" anything in this game as the tutorial suggests? You can just run through most enemies and they will miss you. Forget hitting jump, it does nothing for you.
Be a mage with defense, HP regen, and HP. It's the best build. Also, devs, you really need to implement some kind of after-hit immunity from the flying monsters. If you are going the same direction with them they will perform infinite attacks on you basically ripping you to shreds.
Auto Equip and auto sell are very unreliable features.
When I think of "auto sell" I would expect the shop to automatically sell items that fit the criteria I pick as they come in. It only auto sells if I un-check and re-check or reset the drop down, instead of as items come in.
Auto Equip works as I expect it to, however it is very buggy. Sometimes it misses placing items in slots for workers where they should go, even if the slot is blank. Also, it doesn't always replace a "Construction: 3" boot with a "Construction: 5" boot if a better one gets picked up either. Also, it can't retroactively go through all of your extra equipment and see if any of it fits if you have to fire and hire a new worker. Also, it seems to uncheck itself sometimes, and I think that it happens when your inventory is completely full.
Auto sell will automatically sell new items of that level or quality you get. Where you are most likely seeing confusion is that you get an item, that is auto equipped, the piece that is unequipped will not be sold. Auto equip will not place an item into a slot unless it has a skill matching the workers current Job. It will leave a slot empty rather than putting in a piece that is for a different job. The auto equip criteria was upgraded recently to take into account stats as well as skills. The formula for rating is (1.5 * skill) + total stats. So construction 5 boots may not be considered better by the new formula. If you want auto equip to retroactively go through old equipment, just push the auto equip button next to the check mark. Retroactively going through equipment takes a bit of processing power, so having it do it automatically would cause some lag.
The cracken fully heals if hits the ground at all -_- so if I go invulnerable with flame wheel, it still resets his health if I don't have a shield up.
The monkey knowledge idea is cool, but the players with every piece of land claimed that they can already are at a disadvantage since one of the easiest ways to get more knowledge is to take land. As a level one town, you can immediately capture around 10 pieces of land per day for a couple of weeks. But as a level 20 player, you can maybe get 2 or 3 new plots a day if you're lucky?
I was disappointed when I reached level 80 and found the cut scene... for some reason, I had it in my head that there were going to be 100 levels to the cave. Even once I found the cut scene, I found myself hoping that I would still have to go the next 20 levels to find and defeat the "ultimate demon" that the necromancer summoned with 1000 human souls.
The game is horribly unbalanced. I got up to the locust level on normal, before I finally lost a level. I restarted this level on normal difficulty, and I swear I played that level for 2.5 hours. I have all of the upgrades, but it’s impossible to get up enough money to complete it. The locusts show up with 6000 health ON TOP OF a planet and eat it. And I did the math, when they have 6000 health it's cheaper to death ray them than to buy ships. I can't figure out if battle harvesters can just harvest through advanced civ, or if they actually destroy a civ. Black holes are very glitchy. They persistently set the population to 0 every few seconds, and after about 30 seconds turn back into normal planets with no life on them. In no way does this increase production by 15 times. I was very happy when I saw that I could turn off informational and positive messages and only see the important stuff... I like the concept, but the game needs a little more balance and a few less bugs.
Most OP combo I've found so far if you can time it right: Inspire + Anoint + Eagle Eye buffs on Ranger, Turn on Marksman. If you use Hail of Arrows, 2/3 of enemy team dies. If you use Envenomed Arrow, you are probably going to 1-shot something or do serious damage to a boss.
There is a point you will reach if you continue to play this game. You will be moving so fast, that the clouds simply blink on the screen instead of move past because you are going so fast! Clicking the mouse is now useless, as human reaction speed cannot even hope to hit anything.
I am pretty sure this means that I am approaching the speed of light.
Tip: Your armadillo has a max speed he can reach with his rocket based on how much thrust you have. Figure that number out at the start of each run. If you are at, or near max speed, it does no good to press space. Also, remember the balloons slow you to 10 if you hit them while your rocket is out, so if you are low on rocket power, and you are going faster than 10, it might not be a great use at that point.
