I didnt like the first 2 renditions of this game very much, so its not much of a surprise that this one does not thrill me either. Memorizing the pattern of the level is NOT my idea of fun.
Its REALLY annoying that you can move your mouse/click outside of the playing area. I have died countless times because of that. For this reason alone I rated you 4 out of 5.
Obviously somebody is trying to capitalize on the recent popularity of Tower Defense games. This game isnt Horrible it does HOWEVER require some good planning and knowledge of how the towers work to be successful. It could also greatly benefit from a save game option. I have been playing them same game for over 3 hours and still have 11 lives left. Also, it would be nice to know what wave I am on. 2 out of 5 since Ive been playing for hours and am frustrated that I cant save my progress and dont even know how far I have progressed. Does this game even have an end to it? :(
The upgrades DO work, just not very well. Once you have the gun maxed out there is definately a difference from when you start. However it still sucks. By the time the gun is upgraded the bad guys come so fast it just doesnt matter that you upgraded....
