@Azreakl. His private washroom is really easy to find. During the mission when you're chasing him to assassinate him, right before you get there you go into like his apartment. The bathroom is the north room..or the top of the screen. My problem is Bonus 5...it's all I need for the Hard and I just can't beat it. It's insane and pissing me off.
This is the last badge I need, and I'll have all 5 Best Of Medals. It's a good game.. But it takes the word "cheap" into the stratosphere. It's been awhile since I played this now. It seems like every single battle, the enemy always has some huge advantage. Weather it's much more HP, always getting good cards, starting with a ton of quanta, freezing your monsters (I had one frozen for 9 damn turns), or suddenly coming back with stupidly good cards when it's almost dead, healing like mad..the list goes on and on. And the worst part is how much your score has to go down. Either you win, or your score is being destroyed. And just to add one more F*ck you, your scores goes down into negative.
I don't mean to post this many comments but...in Mission 12, when you check up on..well yourself. How he still has this huge rifle on his back, but better yet, I just love the way he's crouched down in there...sneaking around like he's trying to hide in the cell or something.
Another tip I thought I put out there. To get the Rifle: In Mission 10, right after the cutscene near the start, after getting past those 3 cameras. Soon as the cutscene ends, run straight forward, away from the door. A little ways down there will be a vent on the wall to your left. Climb into this vent. The Rifle will be in that room.
Oh hell yes. I love when BOTD is a Hard. Especially when I already have it. Free 30 points. Also,I have seen my profile pic so damn much lately. I know I wasn't the first one to have it. But, very very few people had it before. Hypn0 and I think 1 other person had it. But lately I see it almost every day. And yes I also know that the white version of it is much more common. I was just wondering, since I have about 1000 comments, so, my rambling nonsense is all over the place. Not trying to be a dick or anything, just making an observation.
Big tip for Mission 8: When you need to get a laptop for the Scientist who's in the bathroom, there's one in the upper right room. There's a guard watching it who will kill you if you take it. Solution? Simply push him out of the way. Just walk into him, and he'll slide away. You can do this to push him down into the room, out of sight. Once you see you're not in his vision anymore on the Mini Map, grab the laptop and you're good. Not only is this kind of entertaining, but very helpful. Not usually a fan of +'s, but + this to help some people. One of the best Flash games ever made. It leaves me speechless.
It's honestly hard to believe this is the first one.I mean it's a decent game but...holy shit. SH 2 is one of the best Flash games ever made..it's...mind blowingly good. It's very rare for a dev to improve a game this much. I mean...the level of improvement is off the damn charts. This is still a good game..but when you play the 2nd...just..go play it if you haven't.
Damn..just...wow..I'm speechless. This is uh...wow. I can't even construct a decent review right. Just holy shit man...you have raised the bar for Flash games to a never before seen level.
Finally finished. Overall, it's a great game. But it took me forever to beat all 37 levels. Because of 2 big problems. 1 is that the difficulty is all over the place. Lots of the earlier levels are harder then the later ones, and vice verse. It took me a lot longer took beat some of the earlier ones. The 2nd problem, is the blocks. They get stuck..and jammed somewhere, or in the way. They cause nothing but hassle. There is no better example of this then 15. Which is btw, the hardest and most rage inducing level imo. It took me about 35 to 40 minutes to beat 15 because all those damn blocks would not stop everything I mentioned above. Then combine it with the chain elevators and..that level is hell. Good game, but beware of the blocks and expect to spend a lot of time for the Hard.
Oh, did anyone notice that the scream when you die, sounds exactly like the one from the Zelda games? I actually think it IS the same scream. Actually...now that I'm listening, the sound they make when jumping is from Zelda, and the sound it makes when you pass over a level is the sound of Navi. That is pretty cool.
A very, very solid series and a great 3rd entry. Very painful memories attached to the last one, but still. As others have said, it desperately needs an R hotkey to restart. Actually, it would just be better if the level automatically restarted. 9 times out of 10, you're going to try again if you fail so it would save so much time if it just started over right away. Overall though a..4.5/5
Ok..well..the game isn't too bad so far..although that could change. The whole cool down time BS reminds me of Backyard Monsters. Hate that shit. But, the voice over is possibly the worst I have ever heard. Seriously...it's terrible. If my ears could puke, they would.
Loading..oh..ok.. 1 of 24....wait what?! Are you serious?? I have to sit through twenty...four..loading bars. All for a game that according to the comments is terrible. That is...I have no words.
Ok..wow..finally. That was an insane amount of work for a Medium. It does get tedious but the just gorgeous artwork and fantastic concept makes up for it. It reminds me of the Link-a-Pix games, but better. I kept waiting for Adam 2.8 because of all the comments and, I have to admit,it was great. And for the people saying the numbers shouldn't gray out...it would be almost impossible if they didn't. Just because you know HOW MANY blocks are in a row..doesn't you mean you know where they go. You would only finish it once you managed to get every single X and block exactly right. That would take hours on the 15 x 15's. Overall, 5/5 game. Too much work for a Medium though.
Oh good. There IS an auto save feature. I read multiple comments saying there wasn't and I was worried. So I just had to reload and see if it saved. It did. This is now a 5/5 game.
Yes, we also like the grey out system and will improve it for the next parts. Thanks for playing till the end - medium is then new hard ;)
