What the hell? Did this game get invaded by people doing large amounts of acid? Neither TheD0CTOR or nino733's comments make the slightest bit of sense. You will use up all your internet? The f*ck?
I think this is like 3rd time this has been BOTD. I got these badges the night this game came out last febuary. I have memories attached to beating this game. A day that changed my life forever.... anyways, yea, I know I've seen it be BOTD at least one other time and I think a 2nd also.
This is one of the most unique and insane games I've ever seen. It's also really old..2006? I have never played a game that has no badges for so long. Sadly I do feel kinda sick now.....5 for the game -5 for making me sick when I already have a stomach condition.
This is one of those incredibly frustrating, yet so addictive games. It pisses you off and makes you rage just enough to not quit. I'm doing pretty well, but sadly the computer has problems and has horrible lag so...that makes it way, way harder. Even if I set the quality to low. I really wish I knew why my comp lags so bad..it ruins many games. And I know there are a couple ways to cheat and basically get both badges for free, but I am NOT doing that. I'm going to get both of these badges legit..even with the terrible lag. For the game itself, 5/5
Also...the hit detection is so biased..you only need to be near a bigger dog to lose. And since you move slower than a snail who just smoked weed, you lose a lot.
Greg must have owed this guy a favor for it to get badged. I don't have a problem with simple. You can have sub par art skills and not be an expert programmer, but still make a good game. The Ocean Around Me is a good example. The artwork was done in MS paint and looks like it was drawn by a 1st grader and the gameplay is about as simple as you get. But, despite being simple, the mini games are fun and the story is very intriguing. It's a good series that makes up for low production values. This...is just shit. Boring shit at that. Boring bad shit. Just terrible.
Oh, and btw, the power strip glitch apparent was fixed because you have to beat everything legit Good f*cking luck on the most insanely difficult and unfair game ever made.
Ok. I have played some difficult and cryptic games in my life. But this...is on such anther level of impossible. Ever after beating it..I don't get 1 single thing about most of the puzzles. This game is not AT ALL about logic because you don't have the first clue what the rules even are...what anything does or how it works. I'm just.. speechless on how..just..like the pipe puzzle. 1. Even with the poster, who the hell is going to see that and think to NOT connect all the pipes in a line. Then..if you somehow knew that... I still don't see the slightest pattern to it. And that's how they all are, I had no clue what I was doing..how anything worked..why it worked..nothing. It was only through tie and sheer luck I beat it. The level of difficulty doesn't come from logic or using your brain. It's exactly like telling someone to write down every word of a Shakespearean play in 6 different languages when they don't know a word of the languages or seen the play. Un freaking believable .
I really love this game, but sometimes I have to wonder if Greg plays the games before badging them. Although it's not really a"hard" game, it is a long and challenging 1. It takes quite a damn while to collect 10 helix fragments and it takes a very long time to beat it..in comparison to getting 15 points for doing so. I know he does play them and usually does a good job, but it seems like if a game isn't incredibly hard, just long and/or challenging, it only get's a medium. I mean, it's my first play through, so once I'm done I'll have put in maybe 3 hours of gameplay. Of course if it's your 1st time it's going to take awhile. Idk, awesome game, disproportional badges.
This....is truly amazing. It is one of the greatest things in flash game history. Never..NEVER have I seen something so faithfully recreated. It honestly stuns me. Being a child of the NES, growing up with it, this brought back my youth to a tee. The graphics, music, sounds, characters, environments...and of course "Discount Brothel." Just the number of games it payed homage to and re created..everything is flawless. Truly, truly amazing. I'm just...wow. 100/5
I haven't played yet, but I had to comment on the loading screen. Oh does that take me back to my years as a kid playing NES. Blowing in the cartridges trying to make them work. Good times.
Ahhahaha. Oh god. FG20's comment made me laugh so hard after I got the Pea Shooter. Oh man. I vote that as one of the best comments ever. Great game btw.
It turned out that the boss I had died on about 6 times, was the very last one, figures. But, if you're stuck, here's how to get past it. The reason I couldn't survive the final boss was because I didn't understand how the shield works. The entire time I thought you just clicked once to activate it. Turns out you have to double click. Before you attempt the Boss Rush, max out every single thing. Then, use your shield sparingly and activate it when there are a ton of bullets coming at you. Not only does it protect you, it destroys all bullets in it's path. I know it sounds simple, but once I realized how the shield actually works, I beat it my first try. Obviously I'm not the only one who didn't realize it. You still need a good amount of skill as you have to dodge A LOT, but the shield will cover that last little bit to survive. After maxing everything out, make sure to take either no damage for the first 3/4 bosses. If you can see the background on your health bar at all, restart.
Ok. What the hell???! Why can't I beat The Divide challenge??? It's the only thing left for the hard badge. My champion is at 51. 36 attack for both in attributes, skills fully maxed. Double everything in the waves, and 7 power totems and I still only do 145,887 damage. There is no way I can do anything else and yet I'm 100,000 short in damage. Will someone explain what I'm missing here?
The hardest trophy is the Platinum Chain (Kill 1000 enemies without getting hit). GUIDE: Make sure you get all other trophies before trying this one. That way you have more skill points at the start. Increase your spread fire and fire rate to max. After that it doesn't matter too much but DO NOT upgrade Magnet or Pixel Drop. The very best way to get the Platinum Chain, weird as it sounds, is to NOT collect pixels. Collect a shield, then stay in one spot and move as little as possible. This way the levels don't go up, and therefore harder enemies don't appear and it's much eaiser to kill things, just takes a bit longer. Always have a shield and if you have one, hover next to one just in case you get hit so one is always near you. The shield will be your best friend. If you get hit with it, you DON'T lose your combo. I got the PC on only level 6 using this method. + this to help everyone
Double comment I know, sorry. But, I had to say when there's no lag and it's all running smoothly, this is one of the best games ever. It's one of my favorite games and my all time favorite shooter. Epic Shadow is such a great company. They make 2 of my favorite games. 10/5
