@7eevee and maclaren93 - I asked the question about upgrading by multiples a few months ago. The sloth shortcut that maclaren suggested works fine, but there's an easier way. Go to Options and set the Use All field to whatever amount you want. Then go to the screen where the stat you want to update is (e.g., Astral World), hover over the upgrade button and press 'a'. Voila you just upgraded by however many points you designated.
Anybody have any suggestions for beating the griffon? I've been plugging of my inspiration into stats for 3 reincarnations, and I can still barely make a dent in him
@Weedo77 - There's a second expansion for Sins to raise your cap to 21 (costs 10 Sins +400 Inspiration), but I don't remember what you need to do to release it.
I just stumbled across a helpful trick (for all I know, it's common knowledge, but it's new to me). If you set spam Sewer-Abyss and set auto-eat on SLime Jelly for the first little while of each DR, it *significantly* speeds up your progress in terms of Habits/levels and Inspiration. I've been doing it for about 10 minutes, until I'm getting a ~35% bonus to Sacred Ritual.
@Weedo77 - That's rough! Did the quest at least have a good progress effect? I'd be less annoyed if it it gave me a something like a free wooden statue for every completion of the progress bar.
@firebones1244 (continued) - Also, if you haven't already done so: 1) spam the 'Familiar' Will Routine for a couple hours then plug all of your points into Greater Demon when you attack cobra king. 2) Do a couple of rounds of Gluttony stat boosting. 3) Disable your Formation for a couple of minutes and when it cools down, begin the battle with cobra king and reactivate formation as soon as the battle begins.
@firebones1244 - there are a few things you can do to make the cobra much easier - 1) complete the quests donating 100 Holy Waters in Desert Lodging; each donation will reduce the poison damage by 1%. 2) Have holy waters on hand to counter incoming attacks, 3) spam the 'Transform into power' Will Routine for a couple of hours and have your most powerful party with as many combat boosting equips as you have.
I'm trying to figure out a good balance point for how much time and gold to spend on the Sacred Ritual routine before I switch over to allocating it all to equipment. Anybody have any suggestions?
@knives254 - maclaren93 is confirming what I told you previously. Greed is unlocked after your first reincarnation. After that you unlock the Akashic Record and the sins resource. You can purchase Greed in the Akashic Record.
@Mikey - I was unable to get on for a couple of hours last night. Got back around 10PM EDT.
@RiXx - There are two save options: Cache save is in your browser cache (not sure where that is on your machine), and Local Save is a text file saved wherever you put it (defaults to Downloads folder on my computer)
@Dev - It's kind of a moot point since changing anything would require a massive overhaul, but I really dislike the fact that there are 12 pieces of equipment, but only 10 party slots you can apply them to.
OK, so I finally got my first Gold Slime drop (finally! It took forever). Now how the heck do I level it? I'm strong enough to one-shot the Demon King, so I can't level it up the same way I did the earlier rare allies.
I like the game a lot, but there's a serious memory leakage issue. I let the game run overnight, and when I checked it in the morning, it was progressing at about 1 in-game second every five IRL seconds.
@Ankhboy:
I'm not saying that the museum is too hard or should be nerfed. I'm saying that the mechanic is overly complicated and made a suggestion to the developers for streamlining it.
The museum is overly complicated and granular. Not sure what the actual figures are, but instead of each set of donations applying an X% within each item category, the earned bonus should be a smaller percentage applied to all crafting. As an example using made up numbers if I submit common Metal Armor, +0 through +10, it should grant a +.5% bonus to crafting time for all item types instead of a 2% bonus to just armor crafting times.
For Monkey Knife Fight, the team posted previously (Beorn, Grim, Titus, Alok) didn't work for me.
My successful team was Beorn, Lambug, Troy, and Revere, all set to Playbook 1.
