@hofdiddy - you may not have the required quota of paintings. Your own is hung automatically when you have the second painting down on the left hand side.
To ThaKeeper - both are just decorative and once brought with gems you can chose new butler or old butler, your icon picture instead of one of the existing paintings or not. Try it - they don't "cost" much if I remember rightly.

Loving the improvements and Christmas decorations. I got a present (time warp) in a stocking and I think I just fed a snow globe to an abominable snowman! (purple gem reward.)
The spider hanging from the candelabra is still misbehaving at times. It sometimes splatters itself when the broom's nowhere near and then reappears quickly, but you can't then splatter it and lose the broom trying. I can't work out a pattern when it happens.

@PaulG258 - I found the skeleton very difficult to begin with. Buying the "Easier skeleton assemble" is well worth it. There is a rope hanging from the light fitting. Pick up the skull 1st. It will automatically rotate to the right alignment. Click it to place it so the knot on the bottom of the rope is under it's chin. Then hang the rib cage just below the skull - small gap. Then the pelvic bone below the rib cage. Then hang the arms and legs. If not using the easier assembly hang tops of legs or arms first. You will notice that the left side is lighter than the right so that helps. Leg bones look like square brackets and point out from the body like ] [. The top arm bone has a right angle (the shoulder) this faces towards the body. Hope that makes sense.
To IoneDecep - It looks like it's available every time you gather 1000 gems. Each 1000 gems gives another 1% increase in income for the entire house. I've currently got a 1% increase and working towards 2%! :)
How many spells do you have to cast to complete that achievement? I've completed everything else for the hall but have about 80 spells to cast before I reach the current target of 250. I hope that it's not more than 250! Spells need to come faster or the total needed should be less. However apart from that very amusing game - certainly not "idle" at times.
You can hit 2 witches at once, getting 2 spins. Hold the bucket high up in the sky directly above a ground witch. Click when the flying witches fly under the bucket. 5 star game for me.
Great game once I got it. Glad to hear it's being developed into a longer game.
Couldn't play it with firefox - too slow. But could play it at armor with firefox.
Works best with Chrome for me.
