Nice game. Gave it a 4/5. Seems too short, but any longer would have made it boring and repetitive. I would have given it a 3, but I really liked the way you did the animations. Reminds of of the stuff you could do on the Fable website before 2 came out.
Things that would make this game better:
1. A magnet upgrade for collecting coins.
2. The ability to mute the game without being in a level.
3. Hotkeys for the 4 abilities. A simple 1-4 will suffice.
4. Allow a few seconds after the last enemy dies for last minute money collection, or make it automatically pickup all remaining money after a level.
5. Do not end a level upon final penguin death if you still have bombs or your reserve penguin still unused.
6. If you are going to force me to watch the credits after the last level, let me keep the money I earned in that level.
Overall great game. 5 stars. Would really like to see those fixes, as I would like to 100% the game but will not be doing until it gets some of those fixes.
Touching. Simple, yet complex. This is hard to describe. I would have much rather seen this is a flash movie than a game, but it was still a very well done piece of art.
The only thing classifying this as a "game" is the 6 buttons you press to watch the movie, which is what it really is. Please remove this from Kongregate and remove the "quicktime reactions". For anyone who actually kind of wants to enjoy this, just spam all 6 buttons constantly as you "play" (watch) this and you can at least enjoy it as a crappy flash vid.
This is made worse by the pathetic trolls that give it a 5 for no reason. This game, as well as others like it should be removed from this site. The creator should be removed from the planet. Giving this game a 1 is an insult to bad games everywhere, and calling this a "game" is a travesty to the whole gaming community.
