the wall jumping controls are bad, and the mega man 2 heat man style jumping blocks were frustrating 20 years ago, and still are, last boss seems like it would be fun if wall jumps worked properly
gameplay and platforming was engaging, fun collection quests, menus were frustrating and unforgiving, the button that opens the menu does not close the menu, dreaded every time i had to remake a flight potion because it meant that i had to navigate the menus again overall, a fun game 4/5
upgrading fuel also upgrades how quickly the squirrel moves, also it feels bad losing all the reasources you picked up by reaching the finish line. people like upgrading their character, even if the game is finite
a little too unforgiving about angles on some shots needing to be pixel perfect, some of the puzzles were really interesting, but kind of frustrating when i realized my solution was correct, but due to awkward physics my shot was 1-2 pixels off causing the objects to go to the wrong place, overall a good game
fun game, ai falls apart if you go through the game backing up and face in reverse, enemies stop being able to functionally attack you and usually just kill each other trying to attack at wrong angles
some constructive criticism i can offer is the music on the first level doesnt seem very fitting, and the fact that the music resets when you die seems somewhat awkward, also the peg maze at the beginning of level 2 seems unnessisary i am looking foreward to seeing the final product, it has a somewhat higher skill cap than most platformers and should be fun
