I am just doing some calculations, and I can figure this out I think, but would save me time if someone else knows. Is the research bonus, such as Mining Plant +25%, cumulative or compounding. So, if the plant mines 4 base (just for example), +25%, makes it 5, +25% makes it either or (1.25+.25=1.5)*4=6 or (1.25*4=5)*1.25=6.25, respectively.
I know you were discussing some changes to ship battle calculations. I am curious if you can update us on how to figure some of those things. For instance, how does armor affect combat. If i have a bunch of 1 armor ships, and one shield ship, will the armor be totaled and subtracted from the damage, and then the damage averaged among ships, or will the smaller ones take damage before the large one? How does it work?
//battle formula
if number of different ships > 1, set clusterNum = numer of ships - 1;
if number of different ships = 1, set clusterNum = 1;
for each cluster set armorPct = (ships number * armor)/(fleet armor);
for each cluster set damage = (power of enemy fleet)*(1-armpct)/clusterNum - (ships number * armor);
if damage > 0, set damage = 0;
subtract damage to fleet's hitpoints; EDIT: don't know how to format :/
Just an FYI bug, doesn't affect gameplay. I am on Antirion, setting an auto route to promision, and the name of Antirion is showing as uanass. (maybe an old name still there somewhere?
I really like it so far. And it seems decently balance to keep a good pace, but I am up to only four planets yet. Can you update the numbers on the production for the planet so the negatives are red there too so I know when I am not using resources? Also, I noticed that even if a plant can't make something because I have no production of one of the resources needed, another resource starts getting used. Is that on purpose? I don't see why it would use one if it doesn't have the other. I kind of feel the same about energy usage, when there are no materials to produce.
I have an error where I am producing about 1 billion gold a second by producing 100k god cells a tick, but the gold average is maxing out at 281 million/second. I set up some multiplier loops and got it started with god cells, the bottom two loops are generating 50k output a second. I think this screenshot should be shared, but let me know if you have trouble getting to it. http://bit.ly/2lEs7Hk
It appears that auto equip is only equipping the first of the people. Not all. I have the others clicked even when i click auto equip, and it still only equips the first one.
It goes in order from first slot to last, and will only equip if the equipment skill matches the workers job. With the auto equip toggle if it finds somewhere to equip the new item, it does and ends. It doesnt check the equipment that was unequipped for other workers. Im planning on adding that functionality but its not there yet. The auto equip button will check unequipped gear to every worker after the one it was unequipped from.
I feel the jump from 99 to 100 is too big. That monster kills my whole bar in one hit sometimes, and I have upgraded it to double what it was on the last boss.
An idea...how about a slider, with a max value of the number of ticks per second. That way you can turn it down, and slow the ticks, in case you want to make a change and monitor it with time to respond.
Made it to the final boss twice. Couldn't defeat it, because I didn't have all the missions. Either give a large infusion of money, so I can buy the books and spells quicker, or make it so you can do more missions than three at a time. I don't like dying and having to start over. =/
I love the game for the most part. But, 25 years ago, I wouldn't have played the balloon game if someone paid me. I can't pass it, and wouldn't want to.
Worst game ever...great ideas, don't get me wrong, but it's completely random, and has nothing to do with how you play. I can pick the right option every time, and hold my money when needed, but either I run out of liifespan, or I run into a dragon without having had a chance at a Divine edge in a long time.
Suggestion...show the exact creature type coming up. That would help. Also, don't blow away a potion to buy a Divine Edge and visa versa, at least use the potion first. You can only use potions during battle, which is a problem too, if I want to see if I survive, and then when I do, and a shop is coming up next, I can't use the potion I have, and itis pointless.
And there definately needs to be a way to exit a level if you find you are being overwhelmed. I don't want to wait half an hour while the stupid computer tries to kill my castle.
The succubus chick should not be able to toss my guys every time. The lance chick should not be able to completely wipe out all my guys and then retreat to her castle. My guy is so freaking stupid, he will turn around and start swinging which takes about 10 seconds, while he is pummeled from behind. I am not that impressed.
