Though the graphics were simple that didn't detract from the very good gameplay. I enjoyed it a lot, I would have just liked more levels because I wanted to keep playing.
they're getting better. I recommend you take a look at how to install the kongregate stats API. There's not much to it, you don't have to install anything just put in a few lines of code where they instruct you to.
Fixed the bug and increased difficulty for those who have high typing speed so eventually it'll become too difficult for them. If you're scoring below about 2500 you won't notice that change of difficulty.
I was noticing the difficulty scaling myself, I hit about 2000 point and it levels off. I'll see if I can make it scale more evenly. I should be able to fix the other issue of the other words being highlighted, when you complete a word it resets all the others, should clear up that issue. As for reason for playing, in some ways this is to test the core concept of the game mechanics, I've been testing out a few different mechanics and checking comments, scores and the like to see what would be the best to take forward to making into a full game.
why would I be require to take a bike into mountains? Oh yes, and a grappling hook. If I need a grappling hook then I can't use a bike because you try hauling that up. 1/5
I would suggest having alternative keys for the firing, so you can have a choice, say spacebar and shift for shooting and other weapon, otherwise pretty solid game.
If the game proves half well successful compared to my other games I'll be coming back to it to jazz it all up with a deluxe version. Make the "combat" animated, chuck in sound effects, maybe even "power ups" :P I'm mostly writing up some basic style games to see which of them hits it off before putting more time into it. I thought it wasn't bad for half an evenings work.
The high scores are recorded but not in the game itself, it's held on the Kongregate chat tab stuff. You for instance got 73,650 milliseconds for the large map putting you in 37th place.
I was thinking of doing something like a countdown as I was playing myself and was thinking after I pressed the mouse button took me a moment to get ready for moving which was costing me time. I'll see about adding something like that in.

The random generation stuff I was planning to use for some sort of dungeon crawler game, I have a couple of other algorithms that allow me to create islands, natural cave like systems to. So at some point going to combine them all together into some sort of game.
Could do with a method of clearing the save data within the game. I managed to complete all the missions on 4 stars before the badges came out which means I'm stuck at getting the 50 point badge and I'm guessing it only sends the data when you increase the number of stars you have.
It's a bit tough when you lose a chance for it going past and lose a chance for hitting the wrong key, so you lose two chances in one go if you're not careful. Maybe just leaving it as missed direction keys instead of both.
