DarkOmeaga, If it's who I think it is, abilities will make a difference in that fight. I think the second enemy in that fight hit everybody for 300% damage, and Caeda has an ability that changes the target everybody focuses on.
That fourth boss really made me look at combat abilities. All that work trying to improve my equipment, and yet I could probably have saved so much time had I put Caeda in the party in the first place.
I kinda agree with SkyCharger but rather than making it so you can make commons but not other items, make it so better quality items can be turned in for more guild points.
Yes, but they also produce more heat. You might want to experiment by setting some plating and a small area to make sure the vents can take it before spending a ton of money on a massive explosion.
@Fyloid, that might work when you are working towards your early prestige layers and floor skips don't matter, but the warrior backed by 5 paladins with Banner of Knight is probably still your best bet throughout most of the game.
The philosophy behind bullet hell is to just not move around too much and you'll have an easier time dodging... the philosophy behind this game is to just accept defeat.
For those having so much trouble, only put one point in health, one or two in recover, and the rest in Jump and Sword. The more points in those two things, the easier Inception and Master of Suspense will be. Once you get those two things, you can work towards All the Money, All of the Things, and Hoarder. By that point you should only have very few remaining medals. This doesn't take all day, only an hour or so.
The game was infuriating at some parts (damn flying skulls) but I don't see why all the hate for the botd. That badge for Zombieland a few days ago was far more annoying in my eyes. (Also to "defeat the nightmare" you just have to let it catch you once you have all other medals)
Except isn't the true point of BotD actually just giving incentive to play other games and the mindset of gamers nowadays just see it as "oh look, an achievement that's worth double points for today only?"
I remember back when this game had a help section... wonder what happened to it.
To those who don't remember those days, you can use shift as a shortcut to "Replace all" and it will replace as many items with however many of the new items you can afford. Works great for replacing empty cells or upgrading vents and banks.
Is it just me, or do merchants not do their job in cases where another product relies on product meant to be auto-sold, even if there is a decent surplus of that item?
The first two items I found in "Roam Around." I finally found the third item in the swamp though. Is it random where they are found or are certain items found in certain areas?
Came back after a day or so and already found the ring during one of the adventures... now to sit through the gathering part of the quest. That's a lot of 0s.
Perhaps make it so you need more experience for leveling up, but increase quest experience reward and make it so you can gain experience by letting cells run their course.
