Ugh the flickering and the beeping from the timer as I fail constantly at crosstrianglecross is unbearable. Where's the pause or wait between levels ><
Welp, my female mayor is apparently a lesbian. Keeps wanting to check out schools to see if they have books of french poetry, y'know, to attract the ladiiees. :D
Oh, and some volume sliders for different sound effects would be nice, some of the ambient sounds seemed much louder than the gunshots, and some of the ambient sounds I'd want to turn off altogether. Though you were never in one location for long so it didn't really detract from the game :)
The dialogue could use a few small tweaks in places - I didn't note an example but in a few places it felt just a little off. As others have said, the targetting bar is not always the most responsive, it is very difficult to hit accurately as sometimes it seems like the needle is further along than the game thinks it is. Apart from these two issues, I really enjoyed this, and I look forward to seeing more games from you!
Additionally, if you are trying to switch spells, you need to drag the spell you DON'T want off your bar first, and then drag the spell you DO want into the empty spot. Same for switching equipment.
You can temporarily fix the spell bug by de-equipping the spell that is causing the issue and re-equipping it. Not ideal, as it places the spell on cooldown again, but at least you can use it properly once it is ready.
"what piece of nasty code did you put in it that an ad-blocker blocks it" - I don't know how RafV's adblocker works, but all the ones I've seen only block KNOWN ads, not 'nasty' pieces of code. They only compare to their internal list. Just because it's got ads doesn't mean it is malicious in any way. And yes I block most ads also.
I'm having the opposite issue, I'm having to move my mouse way to much just to get it to move one square over, and then it doesn't always move only one square (but that's not as much of a problem).
DON'T give this game achievements until it's won the weekly and monthly prize that it deserves. Achievements will just drag its rating down as the badge-chasing masses descend upon it.
WTF is this. If the idea is to be an advergame for an iron brand, I'd make the game less a racing/avoidance game and more to do with irons. You can't see very far ahead, you don't end up ironing much of the never-ending scarf (which doesn't look like it'd need ironing anyway.) You're supposed to 'iron out' traffic cops and make your lazy husband bring you flowers and chocolates instead of sitting on the couch all day (very tired stereotypes at play here). 1/5
We wanted to add ladies in the game)
