we need more upgrades and more upgrade levels. you could have an upgrade called "blacksmith assistant": uses pick half your power (or could be upgradeable) and can be tasked to mine another gem (maybe a star in the corner to signal that he is there?)
there should be a back button, or bank screen, like choose a percentage of money to be stored with each mine, and of course be able withdraw money from it as well
needs a few badges, "making it through tons of poop" = mine an absurd amount of poop. "10,000 paper cuts later" = mine 10,000 paper, and so on and so forth to give you a reason to stay at the lower minerals.
