Very nice game, amazing graphics and very fun to play, but a few things to note: when you manually control a tower, sound effects volume goes 400% or something, not cool. Also the death flask tower is too risky to use because of its high cooldown in relation to the accuracy of a single shot. The rest is good, love the mini-towers for assist. Keep updating the game and turn it into the best TD EVAR! <3
Um, so...I only upgraded damage and endurance, I only lost once when I noticed I had no CC, because I had been getting levels on my insane 1-hitter desert eagle. Then I upgraded TMP and it was GG :) Honestly though, RPG and shotgun are near-useless because reload time is insane.
Snipe dat hacker :D Truthfully hackers are the most common nuisance, but I think of them as the hard part of the game. I usually take over a turret/drone and simultaneously snipe the hacker. If there's 2 or more, zombie army needs to be built...
Amaaaazing game, very well done Nerdook! The first few levels are easy and fun, but the real fun starts when you hit the blue-yellow area of the upgrades, it was not as easy but I could still wreak havoc en masse and truly start thinking about world domination...last levels are kinda hard, I think there's reinforcements coming up or something and I can never get enough zombies in time to get the psychopath trophy. Still, great game, 5/5.
For dragon, kill the healing head first, then wear down the other two simultaneously and get a double kill. If you leave a head for last, it will be strong enough to insta-kill you in hard or higher. So, keep buffs up, concentrate poison on healing head and let it die, then alternate holy and heavy damage on top/mid.
Yaaay, finished the game in 23 days on my second try :) Quite the random game, the start was difficult because I had a forked dungeon and the adventurers would go back and forth, eating away at my precious few g, so unlocking the next level was a matter of chance. It got a lot better afterwards, I geared them up and then disabled the treasure paths so as to avoid incoming traps. With good vamp I had no need for pots, the rest was easy...oh, minor note: the dragon keeps taking damage even after you slay him.
Expanding on DETINY's comment, you can just add the freeze bonus damage on icebolt, get double firebal/hot air and max retribution/justice. The last few points are up to you, either reduce cooldowns or increase your mana regen, since triple-casting costs a lot mana-wise.
In the long run, divine/ice combo is the best, since divine is the only one that lets you heal...fire and ice are fun though. Very short game, I was expecting a cap at 30 (everything maxed), much to my surprise it caps at 15.
I appreciate the nuke that gets me down after a freaking missile barrage, but being unable to get a kill because of a homing army that's eating my fuel, covering an entire chopper team is annoying. Blimps and road vehicles>>>>seeker/homer/whatever.
The maps are random, once you got a few weapons you can change with C...obviously replace melee with guns and empty guns with melee if you got no ammo in handy. Decent game, although admittedly it's harder than most;still, that adds to its overall image after finishing it :)
@Cpool, secret areas got mini-bosses waaay over your level, usually it's impossible to beat them unless you've grinded a bit and got good items handy. That is to make sure that you don't finish the game on easy and then go to epic hoping you'll get all the delicious treasures :) Ofc, you can still flee and open the chests^^
People fuss too much about the viking monoliths. Just get Nat some regen and make sure you don't get the last hit BEFORE they appear. Also screamer+air strike combo=death to all rocks, especially if Lance drinks some milk beforehand.
@ giggity95, stars get you a cash bonus. @ Xen0cide42: try clicking in the flash box. About the avenger: it has a power rating of 1 but it deals many low-damage shots per blast, the farther away the enemy is the more shots they take. I like this game a fair bit, nonsense story is fun and the upgrades are good. Perhaps the prices could be tweaked a bit, getting the ready for action achievement is quite the pain...oh, and the laser/spear SFX is a bit loud, although that can be reduced from the options menu. Other than that, a very nice game to waste my time on :)
