If you got 2k upgrade points, you can max out starting cash (for example) all in one go, instead of building it up to the end. Saves you a ton of points if used wisely.
I don't think there's only ONE strategy to beat the game...I, for one, decided to max out gas damage and use poison gas + freezing towers to kill everything that stands in my way. Bombs are expensive! I also filled the stage with normal towers for repeated volleys of minor damage, which is lethal when combined with poison and slow, and left a few super towers in the corners as insurance. AWESOME GAME, 5/5!
Very nice game, the first 30 floors were pretty hard and I had to redo 19~39 many times over, until I found some awesome artifacts (and a Ruby sword) and slashed my way to 61 :) Difficulty could have been harder on the second half of the game...magic system worked fine for me, prevented quite a few attacks when the extra dmg turned a 1HKO.
I liked infectonator better; my problem is that every round lasts too long and starts out too smoothly. Instead of sudden virus zombie outbreak, you form teams and attack...it's not as much fun. Not saying the game sucks or anything though...
Played three levels. It's not really BAD, but it's below average, for various reasons. First, the good parts: graphics and sound are nice, and it has a plot of sorts. The bad: I would have preferred a point-and-shoot system, although jumping all the time to kill the airborne enemies didn't bother me so much as their durability. Droppers need around 20 shots to kill, WTF! Also, as someone said already, for all the dmg upgrades, normal zombies still need 5 shots. Speaking of shots, what am I shooting them with, epicac? Because they seem to throw up before dying :D Finally, an upgrade system would have been nice, along with a currency or something.
After a few hours, I finally found the village entrance: IT'S AT THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE FIRST MAP! Could really use some arrows to point at the exits, I was on the verge of quitting the game because of something so silly.
Like many others, I have to ask, how do I get back to town after the first quest? The snake road will always snipe me and I can't run away. Am I supposed to grind at beetles until I can kill the snakes?
I'd lol really hard if this game had a "get all achievements" badge xD 1/5 for no plot, 1/5 for no sound, 1/5 for no character development, 1/5 for no badge. That's 4/5 :D
Very nice game, I enjoyed it a lot. It would be nice if there were hotkeys for the spells, since the ninja bosses get away with a gem because I can't cast 5 meteors fast enough...still, 5/5 from me~
