Trouble with mages bot? Try knights with a good defense stat, your own mages, or the bombs. Trouble with the red imps? Your makes and bombs both one hit them. the spearmen I found least useful until late game as one good push only resulted in about half the enemies health (as opposed to the knight or mage KO)

Unrelated to portal spamming, I think between the two I prefer The Company of myself, this game seems to lack a subtle plot, where as CoM was surprisingly tragic by the end. Anyone Else wondering why there is no pie?
