not sure whats going on, but every time I try and play this game it starts to load once it hits 100% the screen goes completely black and Unity crashes, I don't seem to have this problem with any of the other unity games. can anyone help?
read through the comments folks, if you did you would know that its not loading and the black screen issue is due to the flash player update from adobe, Undefined mentioned this, so update your flash and try again, if it still does not work, make sure you update your browser, THEN if that does not work, mention that you get a black screen, I am sure Undefined would be willing to work with you on the issue.
a couple ideas. 1. a tool tip to show what is searchable and what is hackable so people dont have to hack 5 computers in the same floor. 2. maybe give this a bit of an rpg element, with exp and character upgrades. as mentioned before a mini map and fog of war. 3. not sure if its my comp or the game, but it seems that movement is choppy like the character keeps tripping on things or something. 4. again, as mentioned before, allow for sale of items. 5. again, mentioned before, make the character "intelligent" for movement so we can click on the other side of a wall and the character will move there. all in all, great concept, some good suggestions out there. glad to see that you are looking into peoples comments and working with or around them. 4/5 easy 5/5 with polishing.
not quite sure whats going on.. Played the Alpha the other day and it worked just fine, I play v0.5 and it almost seems like my keys are sticking and mouse is not working.. I press a move key and I am stuck moving in that direction, not sure if anyone else has had this issue. Maybe just a bad internet connection today?
oh and one more thing, seeing as you seem to be trying to combine a top down shooter with RPG, maybe adding a mini map/radar, quests (earn extra money for killing mobs faster), things of that nature? just some ideas I thought would add a nice little tweak. Still lovin what you got going as it is ^.^
The alpha is outstanding, I have high hopes for the completed game. I do agree with some of the comments, upgrades, upgrades, and more upgrades. I did notice on the Alpha though that there did not seem to be much of a difference of how many times you had to shoot something no matter how much damage your weapon had. not sure if that is due to unpolished mechanics because it is an alpha, or who knows, maybe I got too many screws loose LOL. all in all, wonderful game, look forward to more, maybe even a beta??? (hint, hint, nudge, nudge, know what I mean?)
42,984 m.... I am REALLY bored... still no moon... and ran out of fuel... took forever to get that high.. and REALLY dont feel like trying again... decent game.. but gets REALLY old after about 15,000 m.. 4/5
great concept, but utterly foolish that siege weapons.. the things that were DESIGNED to knock down walls dont work on their base... and walls designed to not let in swords, shields, and pointy sticks through.. crumble under their.. I guess.. imagined superiority? doesnt make alot of sense to me, sorry.. beyond that.. pretty decent game.
the laser is awsome, and OP, but it doesnt hurt to have an OP weapon in these games, but general with weapons like this they are EXTREMELY expensive to buy and upgrade, so maybe instead of nerfing the weapon itself, just up the costs of it? beyond that 5/5
I normally cant stand platformers due to the fact that there is little to no thought process needed to play them.. but this along with a very small handful of others make platform games very enjoyable! 5/5 ty for a wonderful game!
Harder does seem a bit impossible.. I have tried it many times, and I am always faced with immediate food loss, starvation, I survive 2 zed raids then the odds get astronomical.. over 100 zed start invading after 3rd attack.. I dont even want to know what nightmare is like.. you start then immediately everyone dies? LOL
wonderful concept, a few suggestions though...
1. some kind of goal system, as darvious said.
2. math needs to be corrected.. as trumpet girl and hreaper said
3. expand on the game a bit more, more expansions for the yard, more upgrades, etc
4. adding a bit more difficulty to the game. It's too easy to complete the game, just time consuming.. an idea would be changing how much things cost and sell for. adding different/more events like wolves and coyotes etc..
5 either do away with the brick wall or give it more use.. the wolves do not do enough damage to constitute the purchase of the wall, and the cows heal at the end of the day anyway.. it never failed, the wolves never attacked until AFTER I was done milking all the cows so there was no need for me to heal or build a wall.
Thats all I have, just some reiteration of what the other say plus a bit extra, thank you for your efforts on this pleasant game, hope to see more, or seeing this one updated. Thank you
Hello, try to update your unity player.
